2.28 and Fantasia potions

I see in the patch notes its mentioned that the potion is no longer unique, but no other mention of how to actually buy them. Nothing on mogstation either.

Are they not able to be purchased with this patch then? Or will be something that goes live when servers are back up?

Some information would be good.

i was just thinking the same thing, logged into the mog, and nothing. poop. :(

patch isn't live until maintenance is done. the potions technically haven't been put in yet, they are being put in right now. maintenance ends at 5* so why you would expect to see a maintenance item before maintenance ends defies logic.

We wanna know the price and if it's available. The notes only tells you it's no longer a 'special' item.
But I would guess after all is done, they will make a statement about the potions. So it shouldn't
be too long now.

Yeah, I'd expect to see a separate announcement of it, much like purchasing extra retainers was not included in any patch notes.

Retainer services were about 3 days after the patch so.. expect to wait a bit longer..

for the US customers:

1 for 10
3 for 28
5 for 45

Each options can only be purchased once.

Which does suck as i only want two XD

Wait one Fantasia is 10 bucks? LMAO. They surely know how to take advantage of players who wait for it since months. Create demand with short supply, make people wait forever and then come up with an overpriced solution. Way to go on a monthly fee game.....

I thought their reason for retainers was already shady. Don't see how they can put so much stress on their servers and hard drives that it warrants extra payment but now this Potion? Does it create stress on the Servers too or what is the reason for the price this time? The real reason is most probably "because people will pay no matter what it costs so let's make a few extra bucks for almost no effort".

1000 yen for Japanese
$10 for US
£5.75 for UK and those who use GBP
These are the prices just for one. However you can only purchase 1, 3 or 5. Once you have purchased any one of these packages you can no longer purchase the package again.

Does anyone know if they are still giving the free one that they said they would give in the live letter?

No free ones at the moment. What was said was that if they couldn't get the fantasia to work on the mogstation for the next patch then they would distribute a free fantasia to everyone at the end of May to apologise for the delay (as it means we would be waiting several more months for it). Since they got it working they don't have to give out a free.

10 buck to get 1 fantasia for every characters and every future characters on your account.
They are not items specific for only 1 character, but more buyable bonus items for the whole account.
The function that you can buy 1 fantasia for only 1 specific character come later (they are still working on it)

Most other MMOs Ive played a character recreation costs in the range of 25 bucks. So actually 10 bucks for 1 fantasia is a decent deal. QQ moar please. Your tears are tasty.

Am I still the only one with my original 2 from the vet reward and for playing 1.0?

just going to throw this here ... 1 fantasia = 10$ ... 3 = 28$ (at about 9.33 ea for a whole 1 cent discount) ... 5 for 45$ @ 9$ ea .... so um ... yea ... those .. discounts for buying in bulk ... 1 cent ... i could find that in my couch or even under my driver seat in my car .. my opinion .. a discount should be worth it .. i think the um sales department my need just a slight getting back together on this .. just saying ..

As long as there are enough players who think that 25 or "even only" 10 bucks for a digital Nothing is a fair deal, big companies will be doing just fine and get through with no effort to make moar $$$ from their victims eeh player base. Glad you feel comfortable with it lol.

Same here, all my 16 alts are still having Fantasias tucked away in the last inventory or retainers slots. Doubt I'll use any of them ever - I've simply made the characters the way I wanted them the first time around and even if not I couldn't really care less ...

With it no longer being unique, can I sell mine on the market board now? I hate that it takes up an inventory spot. I seem to be the only person who actually likes the character that I created.

No you can't sell it. It is no longer unique but it is still untradeable.

Maybe it's because I'm still in the waking up process, but I can only buy those Fantasias off of the Mogstation only once? Never again? (I'm not sure I will use the service anyway, but I just want clarification.) And for a character recustomization, $10 is pretty cheap.

They sell them in 3 different stacks. Each stack you can only buy once because they get registered to your account like bonus items (also each character on your account get them without buying them again).

Would suck for those players who use up those stacks they've purchased and then they can't purchase any more. But, maybe it'll change after awhile. There are some who are of the mind that would recustomize their character's appearance that often.

Not me, of course. I don't have that kind of cash floating around. And what spare change I do have, I'm saving up for big purchases. *cough* Consoles and PC upgrades. *cough*

Square Enix is a company, bottom like is making money. So if demand is high, so will the price be. $10 to completely rearrange your character, not bad. Also, save one for the new race coming soon....
