Good Job SE! You ruined the Archer class.

I'm done with this game, Multishot recast is ridiculous. I hope more people quit this game, because you made them waste time leveling a useless job now.

It's called nerfing it happens in every game. I'm an archer, hell I'm only rank 21 with no other classes. I'm not complaining. It's game and I play for fun. No need to leave the game just cause a class or 2 got nerfed.

Do I like the changes? No, but I will deal with it. They can't allow archers to have free reign with damage without some amount of control. Now it just seems like we will just use a double shot more often than a triple shot

Archers did far too much damage previously. Being able to burst down a raptor to about 55% health (not even being R50 yet) in one skill is not balanced.

A nerf could be seen coming a mile away, just like Thaumaturges.

Everybody knows multshot nerf is coming, stop crying because you cant 1shot shit anymore.

You have to expect this kind of thing to happen. FF XIV was very unbalanced. Square will continue to monitor how things play out if they feel they have nerfed things to much it will be changed. This is just how it's going to be for a while now. It may just be a case of having to learn how to play a class again, give it time and see what happens.

I think I am going to avoid these forums for a couple days to avoid all these QQ threads lol...

Archers where horribly over powered, now it is more balanced.

SE also increased dmg from other attacks.

Sorry but your playing archer wrong if your doing multishot more than every 15 secs anyway. After the opener there is no need to use multishot again untill raging strike or hawkeye is ready again (and there on recast timers).

This is my routine for killing a mob pre patch and i dont see this will change post patch except the heavyshot bit.

And ironically with the game being free to play for the foreseeable future, there is basically no impact of one or even many people "leaving" the game at this point.

Archer's get's nerfed in every MMO ever created; history repeats itself.

Tho I agree the 15 second recast on Multishot is lame I don't see it as a big deal either, that's what Trifurcate (sp?) is for anyway. Commonly I just use MS if that ability is under cooldown at the moment and I'm going in to attack another enemy. I haven't played since the update yet but if that is the biggest worry I have to deal with as Archer then I'm not concerned really. It'll just take some adjusting to get used to it.

Haha so true. I'm raging right now over thm, and I've thought about quitting to be fair. But to advertise that your quitting the forums is more ridiculous than just raging. No one cares if you quit right? My thing is, one nerf update isn't enough to totally quit and thats what I keep telling myself, it just needs to die down. Millions of people in XI raged when their jobs got nerfed, remember ranger nerfs guys?

Hey I don't hate lncs, i hate nerfing. My thing is lnc has needed straight up some beefing up, I'm a thm and take a that toad belly stomp or w/e better everytime, and i'm like "why this doesn't make any sense." Mp cost, and cost of arrows does mean that peoples dmg should be better, but there should be reasons for other classes to be good also, and instead of making other classes more unique and better (they did this with conj, while making thm useless so its only half true), they went for the total nerf route, while not committing to most classes better (conj they made better for sure). They said they would release class uniqueness in stages, and people said they didn't like that idea. this is the product of releasing class changes in stages, people will feel gimped for months until they give them something else unique to be happy about.

And Idk about other countries much, I'm american, its like they tell us not to learn about them, so you take one language MAYBE and learn about that culture, so for me I only understand American, West Indians, and French people. But anywho, in America we hate waiting don't we? admit it you watcheed true blood last sunday and you were like "OMG WHERES MY NEW ONE BASTARDS!!!" lol, or you try to watch naruto last week and realized they took the week off and were like "AW MAN DAMN". We are notoriously impatient, so the class changes will be a long hard process for the English speaking forums I believe. I wonder if JPs are raging, anyone read up on it?

if they made it stronger then you would say its about right but need need more arrows than 3
