That's the most likely scenario, given that's what they did in XI. I'm telling you, Marauder is going to be the new DRK. Can watch whole seasons of Lost between weapon swings.
From the patch notes:Quote:
[dev1022] The stamina gauge has been abolished.
Consequently, certain actions that were dependent upon the stamina gauge have either had their effects revised, or have been made to affect attack delay. All weapons have been given a "delay" value which indicates the number of seconds in between auto attacks.
* The casting gauge for spells has not been moved or adjusted.
delay on the axe i have is 4.2 seconds. soooo yeahh your gonna be sitting around for a long time on marauder
havent been able to compare its dmg cause i dont have anything thats the same level
Game is running, so:
Do we have different Delays and what are they like?
It really is an important matter to me. :)
I believe they already suggested that archers would have a cooldown time on their light shot that is equal to their weapon's delay time.
This insinuates that different bows would have different delay times, which in turn suggests that this would also be the case for other weapon types.
*wants to get home from work and check it out*
I hate the delay on MRD. Sometimes I think that I'm not even attacking (and thus mash on my mouse saying "WHAT AM I DOING WRONG!?!?!")
not before, they do have more native ws though. Im not sure if they changed the damages, but i did see the 32 spear had more attack than the 30 axe by like 20 points, and it was faster, but the axe had a higher crit rate. Its entirely possible they havent altered weapon dmg based on the new attack speeds yet. but someone will know shortly i suppose
all in all its kind of wash in the enmity generation race between mrd and gld. If the mrd is so inclined that is.
Not really. They have higher damage over all which makes their WS slightly more powerful.
But they are still better in the sense that Skull Sunder only needs 500TP, so you can use your WS more often.
PUG and LNC have strong WS.
If a Gladiator could attack with slightly less damage but nearly twice as fast, he would outdamage every MRD. A lot.
He could even outdamage a LNC if he is 30% faster.
I don't think this would be right.
Ok..i'm ok with Delay....Personally I hate daggert atl at same speed of great axe or lance...
