Have not defeated Titan Ex yet? Are you from Zalera ? If yes, this thread is for you.

My FC mate and I are looking for participants to join the group that:

1. Will stay with the party until objective (defeat Titan Ex) is completed. This means that if say day 1 we did not achieve our objective we press on the next agreed schedule to repeat the process.
2. Is based on CST/EST specifically around 6PM/7PM to 9PM/10PM Mondays to Fridays; 10AM/11AM to 5PM/6PM weekends.
3. Participant should at least have attempted Titan Ex previously.
4. From Zalera server and has at least ilvl 80.
5. Currently in need of 1 WHM, 2 tanks, 3 DPS roles. Would prefer if we get BRD and Melee as I am already a BLM with a disadvantage from the get go.

I am a BLM ilvl 90 and FC mate is a SCH ilvl 91~.

Not in Zalera, but I do que for Titan EX. Might end up running into your group if you happen to be missing a DPS. Currently running it as Monk.

I am from Zalera and would have no problem helping you defeat Titan EX if you ever need help. I have an i96 BLM (NEVER get hit) and an i91 PLD (never done on Titan EX). If you ever need help just give me a shout; however, I would suggest having a minimal ilvl of at LEAST 85 as an ilvl of 80 is fairly low in the grand scheme of Titan.

*shrug*, I did Titan with ilevel 80s in 2.1. It's even easier now with Echo. Good initiative OP. Would have helped if you were on my server.

1. Me (ilvl 90 BLM)
2. FC Mate (ilvl 91~ SCH)
3. FC Mate (tank not sure about his ilvl)
4. From another FC (BRD not sure about ilvl)

Just wanted to say I have not completed this quest yet. :(

I am planning on just being aggressive on queueing via DF. There was a time I got partied with a good group, too bad we kept on wiping around the super bomb phase and time ran out. Out of curiosity I heard there are "mercenaries" out there who accept gil in exchange for a guaranteed kill?

Thanks Seevant! I will share some tips for you, hopefully you get past this soon:

1. Don't mind running with fresh players, but make sure you establish a connection with good players as soon as you see one.
2. Once you have your line-up, create a Linkshell and invite them (or create LS now and invite as you go). Normally most of players are willing to help and will accept your invite.
3. Be aggressive. Whatever you are doing, try to set it aside and go for Titan extreme runs. You never know what the results will be until it is said and done.
4. There will be times where only 50-75% are on attendance - still go for it and post it via PF. If you don't down it, you still had the opportunity to meet new players with potential.

In terms of my ETA, I've had the quest for more than a month but I was not really taking it serious. When I finally decided to be aggressive on it, just took less than 2 weeks to close out with a good group.

Cleared it today with a new FC. BLM was good enough to where he lb'd the adds while I stayed on Titan. And this time we didn't deviate from the plan to destroy the second bomb.

If you're having a bit of trouble with him, I suggested to an FC mate to have this playing as the background music to keep from raging. Funny thing is, it also provides a helpful insight to surviving a certain mechanic of the fight: http://youtu.be/GFLP7cCh59A

I think the biggest problem for new players are the landslides. Here's a helpful tip: If you can, line up/group up with other players to force/bait the direction of the landslides.
