Please increase CT Mythos reward

First, I'm sorry if this topic has been discussed to the end, I haven't searched all past topics.

Second, let's be honest. Farming mythos is not a hard task, so this suggestion is not to "make it easy because I'm a lazy player".

The main problem with CT nowadays is...almost no one runs it anymore. Queing time are a pain, even for tanks, and that's a problem for new players just tryring to unlock it or even farm stuff.

Since people will always bend for the most efficient way, if we want CT runs, it has to be the most efficient for something. And I think Mythos farm is a good way, since expert dungeons are already here for the soldiery farl. And with Duty Roulette or Zodiac Weapons, we'll always find someone to run 4-man dungeons.

I think 200 should be a good number, or even 250, since they're looking to speed up mythos farm for Atma weapons.
And since it's far more difficult to gather 24 people for a CT run, it should be fair that the reward should be higher than 4-man dungeons.

They already said they will increase Myth drop in 2.3 (or 2.28?) so just "look forward to it"

Sure, but I fear this increase will be dungeon-focused...or not enough to bring people out of Brayflox :(

I don't think that the "increase in Myth drops" coming in 2.28 will dethrone Brayflox as the "fastest" way to get Myth tomes. All I'm hoping is for Brayflox to not be so much more efficient than any other method. That way, I can avoid it without feeling like I'm wasting a whole bunch of time. I don't know about you, but I'd rather get my Myth by, well, playing the game instead of doing 6-8 minutes of one instance over and over.

Like 200 myth per run. This would make the newer players get gear while they wait for their myth points to accumulate. While older players get myth for whatever

50 for each part of CT, and 50 for finishing the dungeon.
This way, people won't do partial raids since doing one wing would be faster than a partial Brayflox.

And...50 more would be good to compensate for the time to build alliance.

Unless it offers somewhere in the neighborhood of 350 Myth per run, it's not going to bring people out of Brayflox. :P

Considering a Brayflox run of 15 minutes for 50 mythos, it would take more than one hour to gain 250.
One hour is largely enough for a full CT run, if people know what to do.

And the more people start to farm CT, the less we'll wait in Duty Finder.
Besides, Brayflox creates a lot of problems between who want to speedrun and who want to kill everything, or who want to do full runs, or only the first two bosses. In CT, everyone will have the same goal.

Crystal Tower is a massive joke. Even if the rewards for it were beefed up, CT itself has so many trolls and clueless morons that you're better off farming for Atmas.

You could simply teach those "Clueless morons" the mechanics of the raid. Not just sit there and insult them.

There are a lot of people who don't know how to raid CT...and it's because they've never done it.
And a lot of "veteran" now choose to ragequit the runs and not teaching anyone, since CT isn't worth it anymore.

Back when loot were locked, every run I did went very smoothly because everybody was motivated.

How much is there that really needs to be taught? Kill the skellies away from each other; make sure they're dead before you kill the dragon. Keep 4 people on the platform or we wipe. Kill the adds; heal the pots. Kill the adds. Kill the giant adds; activate the towers; put meteors somewhere safe. Kill adds; get on platform for Ancient Flare.

The only fight in there remotely complicated enough that it should need teaching is KB, and that's probably why even during the height of CT it was what would break groups. Is there anything about the other fights that you think people shouldn't be able to pick up after seeing it once (maybe twice)?

IMO, It won't wait and risk my time if CT doesn't give more than 350 ToM.

just concern if all overgeareds run CT for myth, will it impact the new players enjoying CT for "raid" and "loot"... ^^;

I did several Brayflox runs, and it requires a very good coordination to go THAT fast.
One bad pull, or one missed heal, and immediatly the time goes up...and people starts throwing insults at each other too. :p

Of course some people will still run Brayflox, but CT will become interesting too. And it will give you more gils and some stuff for your other jobs too.

True, but personally I'm so sick of Brayflox that I'd rather run something like CT for it, even if it is slower.

Even a slow brayflox myth run only takes 10 mins...with downtime that's 5 runs per hour

Yes ct can be quicker but it can also be MUCH longer bray will always be prefered just like people used to prefer wp over ak.

People will always find the quickest/easiest way to farm

Back in the days, WP and AK were the only options and WP was FAR easier than AK.
And AK was changed to prevent speed-running too.

In you can do 5 brayflox in an hour, you can do a CT run for 250 mythos in a approximately the same time, without really speedrunning.
Additionally, you'll get more gils and can get some stuff too for secondary jobs.

so 2.28 told that CT worths 150...
