Your favorite name/description/line/text/words.

So, this game has a really good localization. And it shows damn near everywhere. Colorful names, memorable dialogue, creative translation, and double-entendres in every sense of the term.

So, post your favorite piece of it. Be it a line of dialogue, item description, NPC, enemy, or place name, ability name, etc.

Though these often speak for themselves, oftentimes the references can be obscure, so do explain!

I'll start with mine:

The Warrior ability name Holmgang: This is a Swedish word for a specific form of formal dueling in medieval Scandinavia. A cloak was thrown on the ground and both combatants were to fight without stepping foot off.

Naming your axe-fighter's draw-in move after an appropriately vicious way that vikings settled disagreements? Owns.

As far as actual NPC dialogue, though, I think it would have to be the MNK questline and having the historian's dialogue cut up with <babble>.

A bit dated, being from 1.0, but \/ is my favorite.

Talk about the most memorable quest line I've participated in since...well since probably Thousand Arms and its shenanigans.

There's a lot of amazing dialogue and descriptions in this game. I keep telling my company friends how much fun the devs had making this game lol because it shows!
