A Relic Reborn Questline

I never completed my A Relic Reborn quest because I did not allow me to continue it. I turned in a quest to The Weaponsmith and it did not give me a follow up quest. The GM told me to post on this forum to get the issue resolved. Thank you.

what exactly did you just turn in?

I believe I turned a quest in to Gerolt. I have not gotten to the chimera yet.

This happened a few weeks prior to me getting on here to post. I personally don't care if the whole quest line gets reset so long as I'm able to complete it

Did he send you to confront chimera? If so, you must run to the northeast corner of coerthas, to unlock the fight in Duty Finder.

I tied. There was nothing there. A friend in my FC told me where to go and he showed me exactly where it should be

ok then we may need to get our hands dirty to identify the issue.

Step 1: open journal, pull up "A relic reborn" quest (if you dont see it, check "job quests" category)

Step 2: list the final sentence in the quest progression so far.

Get me that and hopefully we can identify what can be done.

or did you cancel the quest?

I didn't cancel the quest. And it is not under a different category

What item did you turn in, exactly?

I do not remember.

I went or mor Dhona and to Gerolt in north shroud and there are no quests available

You began the quest going for a weapon. For which job?

PLD. I got the quest in vesper bay, spoke with Rowena in mor Dhona and spoke with Gerolt in north shroud. After that here was no follow up quest

I just looked on a relic quest walk through and thats all I was able to do. I remember that much

I just went to the weeping saint in coerthas right now and there isn't a duty finder light there. So i do not know what to do at this point. None of the quest givers have the quest and its not in my journal

That is the next step i need to complete

It is not registering the quest. I can't find it where it says to go online. The exact spot where it should be

Is there a way to get my quest line reset? It's frustrating trying to fix this when nothing is working

Just to add. Since I have done this quest i have also leveled my WHM to 50 and my PLG to 30
And I want to make sure those stay in my account if something needs to be reset

Did you go to the coffer and check if it will open? If no, what have you got to lose?

The coffer IS in Zahar'ak, and will be there whether you have the quest or not.

If you have progressed far enough, it is openable.

something that may help us help you solve this is screen shots. would need one of your journal, and duty finder.

I play on playstation 4. Screenshots are not as easy to do. Let me figure out how I'm going to get them to this forum

if you hit the share button, it will bring up if you want to record, or take a snapshot. after that, you can move the picture to a flash drive, or use your ps4 to hop on the net and upload it.

Would it be okay for me to type out everything in my Journal and Duty Finder? I am having complications with uploading.

pictures via a phone also work. typing it out will only get us so far if we dont/cant see the problem.

I am still trying to figure out the pictures so bare with me. I ran to that coffer you have a picture of and it was there. I thought it would be a normally one. It still does not let me interract with it.
