[Suggestion] Constant Music Toggle and Battle Music Toggle?

I really do not like when the music goes off, that is my opinion and I would very much love if there was a toggle to keep the music going.

Another thing I'd like to see is the ability to toggle Battle Music from playing and instead keep the normal music going.

I'd like those as well! While I also enjoy the battle music, it'd be nice to have the main area theme play without interruption every now and then.

I am very much in support of this, it's always a downer when the music cuts out for long periods of time.

I turned off music because I really do not like the battle music, it all sounds the same to me whereas zones sound unique and cool.
I would like the option to disable battle music (I think we already have this option for choco music IIRC)

That's another aspect for me. I get tired of listening to the same tune so it'd be nice to hear more of music in the game sometimes. Options are always welcome.

The battle music is the worst track in the entire game. I wish I could turn it off not only for the dungeons but for all areas.

It's really mind boggling to think that they took out tons of unique Uematsu melodies and instead of rearranging them to fit ARR they ended ip replacing ALL that music with this one short track?!?!

Come on. You can do better than that.

One of the main reasons I dislike using the roulette is the song I'm so tired of hearing.

I totally agree with this becoming a feature. It's incredibly annoying to be FATE farming (especially now that Atma/Alexandrite drops are RNG trolling lol) and having the music constantly changing every time I so much as step into a FATE and click level sync.

Almost from the very start I had turned the BGM off due to the interrupts and swaps with the music. I ended up very recently caving and bought the soundtrack for the game just so I could have it playing on the side.

This would easily make this game more enjoyable for me. Here's to hoping.

also. 1.x had a quantity AND quality of music by area, why did you take those out?

and a steady music would be fine too, as for day night changes .... I know it is possible.... Uldah night calm, uldah day Figaro castle blaring music. how about .. somehow have this fading in and out into each other? some games have for night wolves howling during the fade in gridania ou hear birds tweeting in the morning ... more of those small little cute things

I actually like the transitions to silence. Tends to be rather soothing.
I hate the transitions to Battle Music or Fate Music though.
Been a proponent of being able to turn off that rubbish from the start.

Of course Dungeons should all get proper, expanded themes too at some point, but even if they just turn to silence, it's better than listening to the terrible battle music any more.

Still hoping for this regardless of how unlikely.

I only want to toggle battle music for the open world. Mostly because the battle music for every region is roughly the same. If we had the battle themes from 1.X that were different for each region, I'd probably want to keep them on. Since we don't, I'd like to be able to toggle it. I have no problem with battle music in dungeons or anything else though.

...they are in the game, just not used for open-world battles, it was just random battle music where-as ARR is similar battle music for each zone but each with different tones and harmonys like Coerthas and Mor Dhonas.

Either way I want the BGM to be toggle-able for open-world content (Mobs, FATE's, Hunts, e.t.c...)

Another suggestion to add to the list would be a toggle in which the mount music doesn't lower volume when you stop moving. :)
