PC character data to ps4?

Is it possible to transfer pc character data onto ps4? I've been looking for a way and can't seem to find one. I do know that ps3 data can be copied to ps4.

you have to buy a copy for the ps4 if you want to transfer from pc to ps4, its only free for ps3 users

I have a ps4 copy, I'm more asking if I can copy my macros and cross bar settings from pc to ps4.

not sure, but you might be able to save that data on a flash drive, and move it onto your ps4.

Not possible. The PS4 use another format.
It would only be possible if the datas get saved server side and not client side, but it would need too much space and traffic for all config datas from all characters.

thanks, wasnt sure. i had taken the hard/easy way by having ps3 version first, then pc, and last ps4, so sets were easy to manage.

I am not sure why SE doesn't support transfer of macros/gearsets between platforms. Yes, they're in different formats, but I would think that it would relatively straightforward to allow PC <==> PS3 or PC <==> PS4 transfers in much the same way that they currently allow PS3 --> PS4 transfers (though of course, they would need to use SE's servers rather than Sony's).

As it is, it's very, very difficult to move between platforms.

Ya i really wish it was possible to transfer everything between pc and ps4. I have been playing on pc since release but just got a PS4 last week and it's been a huge pain getting everything the way it is on my pc. I have every class geared with hot bars and macros set. That is 19 different gear sets that need to be remade, 19 different hot bar sets that need to be reset, and plenty of class specific macros that need to be rewritten. That's hours worth of work. Not to mention that now whenever I make a change to a gear set or hot bar I have to remember to also make the change on the other platform. So far I have only taken the time to set up 3 of my 19 gear sets so far.

The game runs much better for me on ps4 than on my pc in case anyone wonders why I would bother. My pc has a gtx 460 and phenom ii 955.

I don't have 19 sets, but I still got a like at least 6 or 7 sets of gear, hot bars etc. Isn't there back up and restore tool on the PS4? It would be nice to have that.

I suppose since I've done no crafting, maybe I'll just stick to crafting on the PS4, and switch to the PC when I do my DoW or DoM stuff.

Nope not at all. I had to manually move the the files between PCs when I switch PCs (like between my desktop and my laptop.)

I have both PS4 and PC copies of the game and have no problems playing my character on both platforms. The only thing, as previously stated by others is that you need to setup your UI in the PS4, since as far as I know, there is no way to transfer the files from PC to PS4. I am curious, why do you ask for transfer if it's same account?

Because it is the same account and same character even, that is why you want to transfer hotbar, items, gearsets, hud settings. It is being lazy/convenience not to have to set those thing all up again. My PC monitor is 1920x1080 just like the 1080p HD tv. I'll be using the keyboard and mouse on the PS4.

OP want to tansfer the settings datas, not really the character datas ^^

Well, between PCs I have my config files located in my dropbox folder with a symlink (symbolic link) in place which basically allows me to store the file anywhere but make it appear to the game as if it is in the proper place. The beauty of this is with zero effort I can keep the files synced in more or less real time once the game client has saved the changes, and the other PC will always automatically have the those changes made almost instantly.

My PS4 on the other hand is another matter entirely. It's such a ballache having to manually update gearsets and macros I make on PC, as well as vice versa if I make any changes whilst on PS4 too.
