Will we get a Final Fantasy XV event?

The FFXI and FFXIII events were pretty cool. I really liked the Lightning Strikes event the most :)

Will we get the same kind of event for the the release of FFXV? It would be cool to see Noctis run around protecting himself with floaty swords n' stuff. No idea what the event items would be though.

Considering FFXV hasn't been released yet, I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Pretty sure some time in 2015 we will get a promo event. FFXV is SEs next meal ticket, like FF XIII was. So they will promote the hell out of it when its ready to go. I really hope we get it this year but most likely they will push it back to 2015 (like march). E3 is right around the corner so maybe we'll hear some more info.

I wonder if we can get an epic event for FFXV collaboration where it joins us against Leviathan or Behemoth.

There is no release date yet. Saying it will come out next year is pure speculation.

The game isn't even in alpha yet, I think it will be a while before XV is ready to be released.

They're releasing a series of playable demos for PS4 soon. I think its close to being done.

You can make a reasonably stable demo out of virtually nothing.
But there's a huge difference between the unpolished and polished final product, and the demo comes way before the unpolished product.


A demo is never a good indication of a final and or stable build of the game, as it could be a 2-3 months old before you even play it, as demos are quite time consuming and expensive to create.

I want their car as a mount, and make it allow multiple passengers. I don't care if it doesn't mesh with the lore.

I wouldn't mind a pair of the shoes they wear with red soles :D

Nah, the event will give us a car mount that we can drive into an exclusive area where there's a McEorzea. Ordering food there will give us a gatcha-like effect of random drops similar to retainers.

The outfits I can see happening, same with weapons and such potentially given gunner class is incoming too. The car on the other hand...I cannot ever imagine SE putting that in FFXiV.

If there was an event for Sausage Fantasy XV, it would be the only in-game event I willfully did not participate in.

I imagine it can be similar to Lightning strikes event. But this time it'll be lookimg for sausage for noctis and crew. And all hair and clothes will be restricted to males characters

I'd definitely like an FFXV event near it's release and also a Type-0 event sometime in March, if possible. Get some of the weapon designs from that game, maybe? Definitely would not mind a dyable variant of that uniform.

We need the ffxv event back.

You never know though. The event is pretty popular and they need to leave the event on or move it due to the fact the event is still going on in FFXV and it would be nice for when we are playing FFXV and we new game plus the event so we can keep with Noctis story.

What sucks is the FFXV and Assassins Creed event is still going on in Assassins Creed but not FFXV and the cross over in FFXV made one of the best quest lines in the game.

I think it's safe to assume that as long as the Regalia doesn't show up in the cash shop then the ffxv event will probably be recycled periodically
