Error code (NP-36147-1)

Hi this code has appeared for me today i cant seem to find anything else relating to this i play on the PS4 just looking for some help on this thanks!

yea just got it myself, took bout 4 tries to get to the log in screen. ;/ hope it gets fixed because it is very annoying.


just made a thread in the bugs section as well, doesn't seem to be that bad but hopefully the thread catches their eyes lol

Also getting this error and am unable to log in (PS4) - tried plenty of times with no luck.

EDIT: Took about 20 tries, but I was able to finally make it in.

Same error here. Took exactly 4 repeats to get in.

Tried like 10+ times and still it doesn't allow me to play. Im playing on ps4, maybe it's the problem?

Same here and when I got in lag was horrific and I got thrown out after about 15 mins.

Sony decided to do PSN mantience, which I can only expect is because of Watch Dogs releaseing today. I noticed I got the same error as everyone else in XIV and also coincidentaly can not log into PSN shop either so there we have our answer. Sony deciding to do mantience is somehow screwing us over in this game. ****update*** i can log back in and low and behold the psn shop is back up too. so yeah psn matience is the cause

It's thoroughly broken again. I wish Square would change how/when the launcher check happens, every time a big release comes out - bam PSN store dies and we can't launch XIV even though the main part of PSN is working and so are the game servers.

Took me between 10 and 15 attempts to get past the check - don't relay on the dashboard trying to access PSN as a check, just keep closing/retrying the client.

I was having the same problem also, took about 15 tries. it worked almost immediately after i registered to be able to post on the forums

After 10 failed attempts I clicked on PSN store just too see if it was Live. It was. Then went back to trying to log in and it worked. About 15 tries total. I think this is more of a PSN thing THan SE

I got it earlier when tried logging in I just kept retrying until it let me in

I am getting the error code NP-36147-1 as well on the PS4. What in the world is going on here with this.

It's happening to me as well. PS4 and 25 tries; no luck.

Same here. The store says it going through maintenance. The store worked for a sec so I thought I'd get in but no luck. When back to the store out of curiosity and it's down again. Clearly Sony is having some issues.

same. come on SE, it would be better for you to tell us its broke than to just ignore us!!!

While it may be "fixed" by trying multiple times, this is in no way a real solution. So, bumping this in hopes that a real solution gets found and soon.
Also, I'm on attempt number 24, with 7 system restarts, just trying anything I can think of

Edit: just noticed PSN is undergoing a bit more maintenance right now, and missed the notice.

they didnt ignore you, they posted about this on ff14's log in page a few days in advance...

do you have any idea how long it would take?

the date and time that i posted about being ignored was not highlighted in the log in page. todays maintenance has been advertised however.

its out till around 22:30 GMT so another 3 and half hours, could be a little longer though they said

I never had a problem with this code till today, I been playing watchdogs and xiv, but as I sit here writing this, the psn is going through maintenance.

Yeah im also on PS4, not getting in it seems. Getting the same error code, but i get the log in music.

It's because PSN is still under maintenance.

You won't get in until it's finished.

lol well then it'll be tomorrow in the early afternoon, It's 10.30 at night here. I was gonna lvl chocobo with hubby but oh well.

That's stupid. I can play other games online. I can even log off and back on Psn, so it shouldn't stop me from playing ff14

guys that is happening because PSN is having a maintenance. Once it is over everything will be fine.
