What's the last/first thing you will do pre/post 1.18?

So what is the last thing you will do before the server go down for maintenance and what's the first thing you will do once they are up again? :)

For me it's gonna be...

Last: Finish the R46 Story Mission that I saved til now so I have something "good" left to do. Just in case the grand company missions have it as requirement or there is some continuation of the story missions^^

First: Do the pre req quests for the R30/50 dungeon!

I'll be going exploring, doing whatever quests or other things catch my eye as I move about. Not sure what part of the continent I'll start at yet.

Probably looking at the clock waiting for the patch.

Totally OT: Lodestone requires you to enter your timezone on the main page is it completely unreasonable to make the patch announcements on the main page dynamic to your own timezone or at the VERY LEAST announce them in 3 main timezones at the same time?

Pre Patch -Start the downloader, hit up some pr0n.

Post Patch - Log in set up my retainer if they reset. Wait for my friends to get online. Hit up some pr0n.

Well, they announce the time in GMT.. which to me, the world should understand. With globalization and all, i'd say it's important that we all have 1 time. GMT works for me!

I willl... get as many jobs to 25 as possible so i NEVER have to see those people in Horizon who will be killing all the mobs regardless if they are red. You know who i'm talking about. The people who will be coming back to test 1.18...

Right when it get's on, I'm going to try and find a Instance party!

Pre: DL the patch super fast through .torrents, and be one fo the first patched and in game...muahahah

Post: Immediately seek out "The Order of the Twin Adder" Company in Gridania and sign up by doing the first mission requested of them to officially join. Since Yoshi mentioned that the new dungeons will require that one complete a special quest to unlock them, I'm assuming they'll be tied to the companies in some way.

Then after a run or two or ten, I'll go exploring the world for the new hamlets, check out the changes to the leve system, and actually most importantly before any of this, get used to the new auto-attack combat system and permanent on-screen hotbar...heck yeah!

The very first thing I will do is run around Ul'dah and look for Elezen girls in bikinis to fondle.

Pre: Make sure all gear is repaired, Incase dark matter is hard to come by, or npc price is insane. Start to download patch, then head to comic con and play SW:TOR, FFXIII-2 and see all the wacky cosplayers

Post: See what quest are needed for raids, finish them. Check out the new mini villages.

Pre: Already did it. Hit Rank 27 and completed the rank 26 main scenario quest.
Then load up the patcher and read a book while I wait for it to finish. Probably go for a walk/run and then tend to the animals.

Post: I have no idea, but it's gonna be fun! :D

Before patch: finish up my R36 CON quest as I started it last night and never got around to finishing it. I'll also buy the last trait to increase my DoW stats with CON marks. If I have time I'll also take a walk to Camp Dragonhead to set it as a favourite location since it was confirmed that that'd be the camp you'd start from for the R50 dungeon.

After patch: If I do manage to get into the game on Friday it'll be the static leve party first then going to check out the content. Time spent ranking up my DoM now means time saved waiting for a DoM for groups later.

I'd like to see this quest chain they talked about being added, that I believe is seperate from the companies and has some story elements in it? I can't remember much about it but they mentioned 'familiar FF character(s)' making a return in it, and I want to see Cid!

Restock my retainers with stuff to sell to returnees.

Re-place my retainers in the wards (should get a choice pick of U'D wards for a change); get a party together, then go play with auto-attack (try to un-learn some developed bad habits).

Last thing I'll do pre-patch: Download the patch
First thing I'll do post-patch: log on

I mean, duh.

I'll repair all stuff I have and go shopping in the MW in case stuff/repairs get expensive after the patch.

When the patch is out (and loaded..which may take a lot of time) I'll first run around on Vylbrandt and in Thanalan to see if they really changed the landscape from copy&paste to original..and to find the new outposts while testing the new AA on any creature that crosses my way >:D

Pre: Finish some local Leves, do some mining, probably get dragged off to do 30s or 40s

Post: Go to bed ; ; I'm old and the maintenance finishes after midnight GMT I think (boo to work ><)

Idk, got lots going on today. ): No time to play. That said, last thing I did in game though was hunt NM's with my LS.
