1) The ability to change class in a dungeon/raid, when a spot opens during the commencement of a duty. IE: You're doing Coil, and a tank leaves unexpectantly. You have a tank class that meets the requirement of the content you are running, but you can't change unless you leave. If there was a way to offer the chance to replace that class with someone with your party first, no one will leave and one of the more expendable classes (re: DPS) will be automatically filled by the DF.
2) There needs to be more options for the DF, especially for those playing multiple (re: ALL) classes. For example: I'll queue in for Turn 1 on my BLM, but maybe the queue time is too long, maybe I'd want to queue in for Hakkue Manor on my CNJ at the same time. Or perhaps since I have a 50 tank, healer, and DPS, I'd want to offer all 3 types of my services

3) Show a list of gear-set associated with an item in you Armoury Chest. When you mouse-over an item to see it's stats, have a list at the bottom of that window to see which gear-set it's save to. I don't know how many times I've convert, sold, discarded gear that I forgot belonged to other classes.
4) (not sure if there is a way now, but) make it so only the player has the choice as to what to put into the Armoury Chest. It's hard enough to keep things organized running multiple classes, when the chest fills up will random loot and you are too afraid to discard anything, hence point #2....
5) Indicate the positive/negitive values of all the stats of an item, compared to what you have equipped now. Sure you can see the difference for base defense and magic defense....why can't we get the same for the other stats, like strength, vitality,..etc? -

6) Allow a bit more freedom in multi-tasking when using multiple windows. Kind of hard to shop on the market board for the mats I need when crafting, I have to keep opening and closing windows between my crafting log and the market board, or using my retainer when the DF pops up (I can't just accept the queue, I have to close all the windows down first.

7) Remove the "Story-mode Trials" from the Low Level: Duty Roulette, and add them to the Main Scenario: Duty Roulette....to me it make more sense this way since the first encounter with those primals are part of the mains story; PLUS it makes it more convenient while multi-tasking the Challenge Logs....Leveling a low level DPS class, challege log was 2/3 with the roulette, and 4/5 on dungeons, and I hadn't use the roulette yet so I'll get my bonus. I queue in the roulette, and get Story-mode Ifrit. After beat him, I got a good healthy bonus of exp from him, but the challenge log didn't accept it as 3/3 and 5/5....would've have prefered it did, so I could get the roulette bonus AND the challenge log bonus too at the same time.

Character Config > Character > Under Inventory Settings, uncheck automatic Armoury placement. Something like that. It's a godsend.
#6 omg yes. Worst thing ever is Inventory shutting after every GC turn-in.
#7 I'd rather the primal fights in LLDR simply credit the Challenge Log as if they were DR Dungeons.
EDIT: I love how people don't read past "change class in duty" for #1... this here is a great suggestion people who ignore context will try to fire down in ignorance. Gotta love it. -

Maybe perhaps restrict looting to the class you entered into the Duty with. A tank (with a DPS alt class) queues in with a DPS buddy. Buddy leaves and the tank switches to DPS to take his spot; just so the "tank" (aka DPS) would by-pass the queue time. Insta-queue as a tank, loot as a DPS. Then make the rule that if you queue in an a tank, you loot as a tank despite playing a DPS role. -

Here's another couple of ideas.
8) Your Chocobo should NOT prevent you from queuing in the DF, nor by summoning your Chocobo are you automatically kicked from your DF queue. At least give the player a yes/no option when summoning your Chocobo, to warn that you will be kicked out of the DF queue....but prefer to be in queue while using my Chocobo.
9) When doing leves while in queue in the DF, allow the leve to be on pause while you run the dungeon. -

#2 sounds like a good idea until you realize that tank and healer queues are nearly instant so you will never ever get a DPS pop.
I guess you could queue as both tank and healer and cut your queue to 15 seconds from 15-60 seconds.
They had this option in Rift since one class could be DPS and tank or heals. Cleric was all three.
For me tank popped 75% of the time, healer 20%, DPS 5%.
This also leads to the switching roles in dungeons. If I wasn't in the mood to tank I would sometimes only queue as DPS on my warrior. We would get into the dungeon and a lot of the time the warrior who had queued as tank to reduce the queue time would ask me to tank because he sucked at it and didn't have great gear.
This happened to me even more on my cleric with healers.
We were also expected to have multiple specs setup for tanking because some sub-classes were better for some fights and others were better for other fights. -

I guess I don't understand the reason being 'prioritization' when it's probably a 2 minute implementation for an expert coder.

So if you have items in order [a,b,c] and sort them to [c,b,a], because of the referencing to the original table, you would get the item you wanted (c is referenced to 3(2) in the original array/table, even thou you see it at position 1(0) in your window).
After the window closes (and everyone other closes) the chest is sorted (or on the next opening) to display the new order.
Also inserting the "reference" or local table would make adding filters much easier (raw materials by type, gear, weapons etc).
The other way is not to reference the items in the array by position, but by name, but that has a decrease in performance (search needed for the whole array/table) and with large number of slots in the array/table and something that is called 1000 times in a sec, it would create major issues and is usually avoided. -

1 just needs to be implemented with checks in place. 2 doesn't work because you'd get the CNJ duty every time in your example. 3 is in game. Gear assigned to a Set has a little paper icon. 4 is in game. 5 is OK just could make for a cluttered item desc. 6 probably isn't doable. 7 isn't needed. Just run roulette again I finish your logs. If anything they could just class Primals as dungeons. That way they don't hurt lowbies.

Your Chocobo counts for all these things if you're in town, or if your Chocobo timer ran out but you forgot to "Dismiss" him. You can't talk to NPCs while mounted. You can't do a treasure map unless everyone in your party is in the same area. You can't teleport or leave the area if somebody hasn't rolled on the loot from a treasure map or else you get booted from the party automatically.
I'm sure there's more, but all these are minor inconveniences/annoyances that really start to grate on you when they all get added up over time.
