End-Game Masochists: New Static Forming

I'm looking for players with a very particular mindset to form a new static group for end-game content. Specifically, I want people that are wiling to forego looking up strategies, watching kill videos, and asking/receiving for advice (as much as possible). Instead I want to find a small group that would like to figure out end-game as a team. People that would rather determine mechanics through observation (read: wipes) and formulate strategies based on everyone's input.

This static is not for farming or being server/world first. Instead it is for people who enjoy buying a new RPG without the strategy guide attached. It's for the people who want more than just a challenge of execution.

Technical Details
Times - Tentative based on the group. Supporting a continental US timezone is necessary. This is not expected to be heavily progression focused, where in it for the challenge of content, not so much the gear drops. I'm thinking 3 hours / week would be a good starting point, no more than 90 minutes / session to reduce burnout. There will be many wipes.

Voice Chat - Mumble is a must. Communication for formulating strategies and executing them is essential. Feel free to propose alternative voice chat applications is Mumble can't be supported.

Necessary Qualities
- Must have an abundance of patience. There will be plenty of wipes as we figure out mechanics. Likely, the pace will be slower than the average progression group, but the point is to figure things out on our own. Not just go through someone else's motions.

- Must have a friendly personality. This is absolutely important as tensions will be high when wiping due to mechanics and the ever present execution issues. I'm considering requirements a 2 drink minimum so everyone's relaxed during raid time. :)

- Must be skilled in performing your class but also have knowledge of other classes pros/cons and general raid environment aspects (positions, awareness). This is essential to help facilitate the strategy disucssion as well as execution.

- Must be open-minded and willing to try new things, even if you disagree with the thought process behind it.

- Must NOT bring any previously research aspects of the fights to the group.

The intent of this static is more looking at the long term, (next patch of content probably) as most people know strategies for current content. This will likely not just be a static but become a small group of friends overtime, given the long term commitment. If your still interested lemme know, I'll find a way to get you a pearl.

We're sitting at 4/8 right now, I would say that all three roles are still open, more emphases on Tanks though.

That'd bring it up to 9 total. I'll talk with my guys to see if expecting at least one to sitout per week is acceptable. If your guys are also fine with that...and we're really on the same wavelength to raiding I'm down. Honestly a bit skeptical atm, wouldn't have expected to find many people with this mentality, much less a group of 5 already :)

We can discuss it sure. Unfortunately, I am away this weekend or I would gladly meet you sometime. However, I can relay your info over to the others. I understand you may be skeptical but we really are just a group looking to have a good time, casually clearing all end game content and gearing up for whatever SE throws at us. We have all played together for 3 years now on other MMOs and USUALLY try to figure out all content without any help. Some of us have more progression than others but all are willing to help with any content that needs to be cleared. Look for Releena Yuy, Lilith Shadowsong, Lazav Szadek, or Poy Goode to send you a message. Perhaps a few runs to test play style and cohesion. Also too... we are all on ps4. Heres to hoping thats not a problem for you and yours.
