Ok, Question no. 2 - which server is best for roleplay?

After people being kind enough to answer my first question, i decided to ask another. As said above, which server is best for roleplay?

Mysidia is one of the biggest and better populated servers.

Besaid for roleplay, can even act it with strangers and its welcomed

Besaid is best for role-playing, as I've heard majorly around the forums. But we can always shamelessly advertise our own worlds here, eh?

Besaid is the unofficial roleplay server.

But Selbina is the best at everything else, you know? (WAKKA)

Besaid was the RPers server of choice at release, and there is still a healthy RP population. I also noticed another RP event coming up which was posted on the besaid server forums so you may want to check that out also.

I think I've heard some RP on Selbina also, but Besaid has probably by far the most roleplayers. There was a community of roleplayers who took a vote even before the launch of FFXIV to designate Besaid as the unofficial RP servers.

If you want to check it out, there's a few common hotspots for RP:

Ul'dah - Gold Court (Ul'dah City Center with Fountain)
Ul'dah - Mineral and Concern (Miner's Guild)
Limsa - Asatalicia (Marauder's Guild)

There's a few more but that's what pops into my head immediately.

Bodhum is the best.

Well isnt all servers Role-playing? LOL :| this a RPG after all... so all servers do that.

Besaid is the unofficial rolepaying server, but you dont wanna go there, come to Mysidia and you will know joys greater than you could possibly imagine

makes me lol every time i read server related questions. To form a halfway reliable conclusion you would need to ask a large number of people who actually played on ALL servers for a long period of time and yet everyone feels like their server is the best/\

Go to Besaid, Lindblum doesn't need the RP disease to a big extent.

Like others have pointed out, Besaid is the unofficial RP server. Lots of people, so yeah come on over!
