Identity:
NEKO X hideout is a new and small FC inspired by cat lovers and veterans from close beta, the FC's name refers to a cat's hideout, a hiding place. The FC is conceived without lofty goals or dreams of world domination, our ideal is merely to foster and create a social and positive environment in Eorzea. As such <<.nyan>> is created for players who still remember how to have fun and enjoy being part of the world that is Eorzea.
we do not chase after membership numbers, we do not strive or need to be a large FC, our initial purpose in creating this FC was to have a FC housing, having met that goal, we wanted to gather players who subscribes to our philosophy to hang out e.g those who has just returned to FF14, got left behind after their FC faded into disuse and stragglers who felt left behind by the content. We're also actively assisting new players to get a step into the game while nurturing the appropriate skill-sets to effectively challenge the game's content without being carried. In-line with our ideology of creating a FC that strives more to be a LS, we do not demand loyalty or fealty
our ideology revolves around having a hangout to socialize, no promises of "nakama" running into the sunset, no fanciful ranks, no ranks to differentiate "raiders" or "core" members, just 1 single member rank for everyone, it is perhaps the purest form of equality.
Progression:
Progression wise, we do attempt and complete end-game content routinely, as of now, we have successfully completed up till T8 and actively recruiting players to form new teams for clearing end game content, imparting our experience to them and enabling players to experience end-game effectively and on their own terms.
Who should join?
We welcome both experienced veterans and new players who have just joined the game and would like to have a place to start out at and feel comfortable in, we do not set requirements as though we are recruiting for an Ironman triathlon, we simply look for basic qualities and that is those who are independent, willing to learn and genuinely seeks to have fun and enjoy the world of Eorzea. Those seeking to have a foot in progression are also welcomed to join and those seeking to craft or just to socialise are more than welcome to join as well.
SG players are encouraged to join us as the SG player community is rather small and I think we should band together and help each other out!
Philosophy:
Ultimately, NEKO X hideout is unorthodox in a philosophical sense that it is a FC that strives not to be a FC, it can be said to be more akin to a LS but with the perks of a FC (incl housing) without limitations or rules where we encourage independence and provide a place where every player can be themselves

*FC mansion design aesthetics are inspired by ambiance and layouts of lounge and cafes, so the ethos of the mansion's design is to have a minimalist approach where focus is given to creating airy spaces with furnishings that complements and adds functionality, it is a place designed for people to hang out, chill and relax.
