PVP Win Trading OK? Can we get a dev response?

Given that quite a few people have win-traded to level up in pvp and gear themselves up, a number of legit players are at a disadvantage. Because PvP doesn't seem to match people with others their level, and comes with 10min+ wait times, there seems to be a divide between a few players with "elite gear" and many without.

This makes nearly all PvP matches a matter of pure luck (unless you enter with friends who are well geared).

So could a dev please respond and let us know whether or not Win Trading is a legit method of leveling up, or an exploit.

Many people are avoiding it because they think it's an exploit. While others are taking full advantage of it.

So please, let us know if we can take advantage of win trading, or not.

In a game where speed-running and streamlining content as much as possible is ideal... sounds like a regular Tuesday to me.

Why would anyone in their right mind think rigging PvP matches would be considered acceptable.

Not until SE steps in and posts a response in 1 of the wintrading threads. But it feels like they don't care as they have responded to newer threads with different topics.

please carry on in my thread, bigger it gets perhaps the more attention it will receive I'm going to try to submit a question to yoshi-p aswell for live letter. PVP Wintrade Exploitation is this reportable

Although it should not be allowed, I doubt they will do anything about it. It will take an awful lot of effort to find all the offenders.

Not really. Everything in an MMO is logged all they need to do is write a script to find the behaviour.

Their probably going through match and chat logs as we type and preparing to hit them the ban-stick for a few weeks :p if thats any comfort :)

I really don't see why it's so hard for a mod to answer this instead of either letting it happen or secretly banning people.

Who really cares about PvP when bots and speed hacking in PvP are more rampant than ever? Obviously SE doesn't.

I don't think there's been a single MMO on the market that offered ranked PvP where this wasn't an issue. Every time a system is built, you're going to have someone come along and attempt to game the system for maximum benefit with as little effort as possible. Welcome to the human race.

And to be clear, I do not condone it at all. It's sadly though something that is going to be done regardless of the mechanics used to try and limit it.

every other mmo i have been in banned people for it. Or rolled them back. Not tacitly allowed it to happen without making a statement on it.

Oh sure you can ban or rollback if you want but given the number of people on the CS staff, the time it takes to properly investigate it and the number of people doing it, you're fighting a losing battle. Your best bet is to make it as difficult on the player and keep an eye out for anyone that's bypassing the limits.

except they wont even say if its an exploit or not.

I don't see it as an issue. Only reason I say that is because it's not possible other wise with the horrible queue times. Doesn't bother me any, doesn't effect me in any way. So I don't complain.

I play pvp legit. Ppl who wintraded come into pvp with i100 gear and destroy everyone with less. Since pvp 50 gear is basically everything, it effects a lot of people. Makes it harder to get wins, and makes the long queue times worse.

find some friends. I run with 2 of my FC mates and the longest wait we have ever had was 6 mins.
