pepare to get paralized and stuned!
I hope it's more difficult then Leviathan.
WTB AoE Esuna
Just hope Levi and ramuh don't tag team us , that water will be most shocking
FINALLY! /10char
How shocking!
Hope it's original and fun...nothing original about fighting a primal though. /sigh
BUBBBLEESSS
Can't wait to see what judgement bolt looks like. I know healers will need to esuna/leeches a lot during this fight
Summoners, please look forward to another primal you cannot acquire.
Ramuh? I'm already shocked by the idea.
Don't worry guys, I'll use apocatastasis on the MT...Once every 2 minutes...
I stick a fork in an outlet when I was a kid, I think I can handle a little lightning primal
Finally.
Been wanting to kill this pervert for a while. I hope after we kick his butt, we get to take him to court where tempered Sylphs can show us where, on the Wind-up Sylph, the Primal touched them. Oh, that they call themselves "touched ones" is just as coincidence? Sure, and I bet the fact that he has them all high on Milkroot, and pushing it on the untouched Sylphs, is just a coincidence too. Those bondage plants are perfectly natural, too. Cannot wait to kill this dirt bag.
I'm curious to know if his Primal Music will be more in the vein of Ifrit (big symphonic orchestra piece) or more similar to the last three Primals (rock with lyrics). If the former, it'll give me another song to work on deciphering the lyrics too, heh. I still need to figure out a few bits of Leviathan and the second half of Ultima. But I'd guess Soken'll go with more traditional music for the ol' man. It's more fitting, I think.
Lore-wise, if we're fighting Ramuh, then someone dun goofed really bad and pissed him off. I hope its that over Ascian mind-control or something equally dumb.
Best part of Ramuh is... SHIVA IS NEXT!
Now if only ramuh did 1.5x damage more to ppl with levi weps and 2x damage to tidal weps lol cuz it's like a thunder rod made put of water and levi flesh lol.
Then again more than half of us are wearing metal.... Lol
He'll probably drop accessories :/
Cuz two primal weps is too far fetched in 1 patch.
How I imagine this fight to go.
Continuous ground focused energy field, basically how things ran in King Behemoth. Progressively becoming stronger as the fight goes if certain things aren't handled properly, from a small tick that is mostly negligible to a hard tick that can wipe a party within moments as healers just cant keep up with it.
Like the Slyphs, he won't actually be on the ground, he'll hover, possibly even moving rapidly across the arena quickly. I'm guessing teleporting, without having a set tank position such as how Ifrit jumps but returns to the original tanked location every time.
I doubt we'll see the raw, forceful way that the other Primals are. I imagine his fight will almost be more like Garuda in nature.
Ifrit is explosive, charging you down. Garuda tries to cut you down, sending out multiple foes to attack from multiple angles, calling on copies/the sisters to distract you, stretch you thin while building up for a big hit. Titan is like his element, forceful, but grinding, trying to crush you the entire time (tumults/geocrush), Leviathan is like Ifrit, using his element against you, rocking the boat, careening across the platform to try to plow you down. The biggest glaring issue in Levi Ex is he's trying to drown you. Ifrit wants to burn you. Garuda wants to cut you down and Titan is trying to crush you. So I see Ramuh wanting to make you stop, paralyze (as someone else mentioned) and gradually destroy you. But I see the tempo of his fight being slower than the others, which is where the electrified field comes in, moving around the arena to deal with the party at multiple angles, trying to exploit weakness in formation.
I hope, I won't be disappointed, he's among my favorite 'summons' in the series. Right next to Alexander.
Best part of 2.3.
Still they need a area for Shiva Aethercrystal which means we may be getting a new area in 2.4 or 2.5 for Coerthas.
Still I question when Shiva Primal Fight will be since if it is 2.4 then what will they do for 2.5 since all known primals may be done unless they have Bahamut Primal Fight for 2.5 :p
I'm currious about why the scions will fight Ramuh.
He was suposed to be rather calm Primal, only caring for his territory and ignoring the outside of his realm.
Did Ramuh get drunk with power like Garuda? Did the "Darkside" influence him? Was his Realm invaded ?
What could force the scions to battle with the wise Ramuh? What could it be ?
Double posted because of browser: sorry
Regardless of whether he's a calm Primal or not, his presence in the world is unnatural and has a cost. At least the Hard mode versions involve substantial crystal/aether to draw him into our world. The Extremes seem to all be focusing on the blood sacrifice, which is still drawing on aether, so either way as long as he remains in the world he's drinking in the life blood of the planet basically.
While he has remained not hostile, Ramuh goal is to protect the sylph land by any means necessary.
As shown in the Sylph story (spoiler warning for people who have not complete it yet)....
the Sylph corrupted by Rumah have plans to kill all other races in the Black Shroud so they cannot be threated or harmed by anyone or anything ever again.
The question has been how long before they start activating this plan to cause the Mass Genocide on all other races in the Black Shroud.
You have a point there. I remember now Minfilia saying that they should leave Ramuh for another time since he's not a "direct threat" since he's passive.
We will see then, whatever the reason is, Ramuh's not going to be easy.
He'll shoot Highvoltages from his beard points !
That would be a neat twist. If we have to deal with Ramuh for the storyline, then in 2.4 with the loss of Ramuh standing as defender of the Shroud, that Castrum south of Hawkthorne Hut gets opened up and we have to then deal with that threat, since Ramuh isn't there to deal with them anymore. Trade one evil for another.
I wonder if it'll be tied to the Temple in the Shroud in some way. With the Temple being actively used for marriages (I'm assuming they're making that available in 2.3) and an surge of new people in the Shroud (to be technically fair, as far as the game is concerned the only actual people that get regarded in the Shroud are the people at Hawkthorne Hut and yourself) the Slyphs take it as an encroachment on their lands and go into their own frenzy to deal with the new menace.
Ramuhs going to come crash a wedding.
