SE is there any plans to add a Area like pre-Mor Dhona

Is there any plans to add a area like in the first CG cutscene where your battling the giant malbero in? You know before the airship crashes in it.

I personally would like to explore it. There isnt really a area on the Eorzea Map you could put it in unless you guys plan to add a Time Rift/Caverous Maw in Mor Dhona where you could explore that area and battle bahamut.

This might seem FF7 but id like there to be another area under Mor Dhona that has some kinda Meteor Crateor Cave FF7 kinda had where it kepted going down and exploring the unknown.

like the upper zone of King Ramperre Tomb ?

You mean the lower zone?

Yeah. Behemoths,Tonberrys anything could be down there... Its a EVIL place. It be a nice endgame spot for FFXIV storyline.

Something was on the airship before Bahamut attacked it and Garlean Empire want it back...

If they had plans for this, do you seriously think they'd go into any detail right now? :p

They only just made it clear they were working on map redesigns. Good marketing means they'll hold stuff behind a veil until they're ready to give us the next teaser so we stay on our toes. Anything could happen. :D

Maybe we will get to fight evil chocobos down there. Chocobo of Gluttony, Chocobo of Wrath.... Chocobo of Lust would be iinteresting <_<

People are thinking that Silvertear Falls(which is a locked area in Western Mor Dhona) will be relatively unaffected by the decay left by the Wyrm King in the rest of Mor Dhona, so it would probably look reminiscent to the opening CG.

If there's going to be a Northern Crater-esque area at some point in the game, it'll probably be at Xelphatol or Dravania, which are both in the northern regions of Eorzea.

Not one single crack about pre-Mor Dhona? When you see it, it'll be like you set the nozzle to "Spray"... in your pants. And I'm all for new areas/suggestions. Not to sound like a pre-MorDhona, but I definitely think that I personally should be entitled to new scenery, even if y'all aren't.

I would wait with any suggestion or speculation about this, until SE redesign'd the Areas like they said. We have no idea how they will look like, or if they add Places and Stuff. So i would wait and be patient.

But i would like to see some more "Underground Areas". As in example FFXI-Stuff like KRT, Temples in Jungle and so on. They could have some Doors where you need to figure a way to get through. Like you needed several People for different Doors in FFXI. Was a nice thing to do and was improving Teamplay.

I've ran into this as well :P I've explored a ton and there's this almost replica spot of the opening Malboro fight^^

Since that event occurred roughly 15 years ago, in the game's storyline, I can see the player using the power of the Echo in some future expansion to warp players into the past and experience what went on in the world between the Ishgardians, the Dragons, and the Garleans. You might even be able to see Ala Mhigo before it gets destroyed. But this stuff won't be for years I'm guessing... If not, ever.

I think using the Echo to interact with past events like that could really give the player more opportunities to approach the overarching narrative from various different angles.

It'll be like Doc Brown's Time Machine into the past! To get a sense of where Eorzeas been, where we're going, the pitfalls, the possibilities, the perils and the promise. Perhaps even an answer to that universal question: why? :p
