Please Remove the Dailies Soldiery Notification

I always read the text in the daily quests the first time I do them. After that, I have no reason to read it so I just hammer my confirm button until all three quests are handed in. When I have capped Soldiery, however, a popup box appears asking if I want to finish the quest as I can't receive the tomes reward; it defaults to no, meaning (pretty much every time) I end up having to click the NPC again and slowly click 'Yes' because in hammering the confirm key I refused to finish the quest.

What is the purpose of this? It's a daily quest. Why would I refuse to hand in the quest to wait for reset in a few days time to get my 3 soldiery? This is just making handing these quests in unnecessarily fiddly. It's particularly irritating when all three quests give me soldiery. I have to slowly hand all three in rather than just mash confirm and be done. Today put me at 380/510. I am so over caring about the dialogue by this point.

Please remove it, or default it to yes. Thanks.

They should just give myth instead if your soldiery is capped.

Or better yet, provide the option to pick what you want.

The confirm is because in order to not miss a day of quests you need only flag the quests. You don't have to complete them. If I cap soldiery the day before reset I might sit on the three top tier daily quests and complete them after reset the next day to get my soldiery since I can then immediately flag that day's quests right after. Could even be only 1 quest I hold back because I capped after the first 2. I'd much prefer that prompt to come up so I know to wait to turn it in the next day. As someone who tends to button mash through those dialogs as well I like that it defaults to no so I don't screw up if I DO want to save that quest turn in.

If there would be no confirmation then people would complain that there is no warning lol. I am annoyed from it just like you are and also have to return them more than once because I aka Dr. Quickfinger also click blindly on "no" lol.

I would aso love to see an exchange option, both in dungeons and for beast tribe quests. Cap reached, provide Myth. Well for beast tribe quests, it only matter as long as you are trying to get up in their ranking. Atm, my strategy cap is reached latest by Thursday. So from then on for 5 days, I hope that there are only very few tribe quests where Strat tomes are involved.

But as soon as I reach max friendship (right now I want to do it ASAP because I love minions and companions), I will only pick the quests I like anyways. FATE quest? Abandon. Carry quest? Abandon. Strat tome reward and I am on cap? Abandon. Each tribe has 3 tiers of quests and abandoning is easy because you can just pick another one. You will always find something where you get a reward you like, even if it's not the best possible.

No it gives it back to you after you abandon.

of course there's a thread complaining that there's a confirmation window. before this one, there were people complaining how a lack of confirmation windows meant they were wasting exp after completing challenge log entries. SE just can't win. add confirmation windows and get complaints that they need to be removed. don't have confirmation windows and get complaints that a confirmation should be added.

and if they defaulted it to yes instead of no... there will be complaints from people accidentally pushing yes instead of no. Imo, its safer for SE to err on defaulting to no instead of yes. The accidental no can be fixed by the player. The accidental yes cannot be undone.

I would agree, but I'm spamming enter because I have nothing to gain from the quest. If you're doing a quest that gives you rewards you're after you have good reason to take your time finishing it and make sure you're on the right job before hand. I'm not talking experience either. I'm talking about the little prompt that pops up at the end of a third tier daily quest that tells you your soldiery is capped, do you wish to finish the quest? I am not talking about general prompts in quests.

In this case it would make zero sense to err on defaulting to yes to compensate for a very small minority that can receive the soldiery.

Don't remove the notification, please make it so if we are capped those tomes become Mythology. Nothing like being forced to do a daily (and yes we are forced to accept the quest to get to others) when you do not need soldiery anymore for the week.

It would reallybe nice if you were capped that it would swap to myth. . . Or better yet just remove the dumb cap

Cap is there for a good reason.

Just replacing sols with myths isn't good enough, we need full freedom of which tomestone we get, regardless of cap.

I can understand why they would default it to No, I guess the simple fix is to have it to yes. I've done this many times, but it's not something that hurts quality of life..this is just laziness on the users part (including myself who doesn't want to read and just hit confirm button) but again..lazy.

Yes because taking an extra 30 seconds is really going to make that much of a difference.

This was the mantra of 1.0's UI and it was one of the worst UIs of any game you'd ever play.
