Frequent Sudden 90k's

Time Observed: Beginning Friday Morning EST, and continuous at irregular intervals since at up to 11 times so far

Details: I keep getting 90k'd at irregular intervals, sometimes several hours apart, without warning while playing the game. This has occurred both in the overworld and duty instances with no lag as a precursor, just a sudden connection drop. Granted, I can get back on after about 30 seconds and some 3102, (Still logged in), but it is a major inconvenience that has occurred eleven times in the past 36 hours.

Steps Taken:
1) Rebooted my Modem and checked my internet connection; and it has been working as it should be when I've been getting dropped.

2) I fought with my ISP for over six months last year to have my line fully secured and repaired to where we have had no internet outages or severe lag spikes in the past eight months.

3) Ping checked the NA Data Center and got happened to get disconnected during the test, but it showed no packet loss during that time. In fact, packet loss with the NA Data Center is 0%, with one or two packet loss out of a larger number.

4) Another person in my house plays on Behemoth and has not had the same issues with 90k; however they do play significantly less than me so this might not be entirely accurate. Will follow up when possible.

Following up on 4):

Just got 90k'ed again and the other person in my house on Behemoth server did not get 90k'ed and has not been all night. Leads me to believe it is a Balmung thing.

Faerie server. Sudden 90ks. Thought this was over with, as I have been stable for a few weeks now. Suddenly started back up today, quickly getting annoyed.

i'm on Balmung as well and having same issue. random dc's then wouldn't let me back on the server for over an hour

I too am on Balmung. Get more than halfway into any dungeon, duty, etc. then instant 90k consistently. Then I get error 2002 trying to log back in for over an hour. Won't let me back onto the server. This is killing me :(

Follow-Up:

Issue was not fixed by last night's maintenance.

Was on the second boss in Brayflox(Hard) and got suddenly disconnected( 90k ) again.
Time occurred: 12:57pm EST

I have noticed a pattern to where this seems to be occurring every 2-4 hours after logging into the game.

I'm going to test this out on PS4 and will follow-up again in a few hours.

This has been happening to me since last week. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, Windows 8, and it still happens. It's the only game this is happening to me.
I can play Titanfall, for instance, and its fine.

I really like this game, so I'm hoping something can get fixed.

This is the first time I've 90k'd in months and it has happened 4 times already just today. The lag is horrendously bad and 90ks are hammering me.

I ran a speedtest and everything is fine with my service.

I'm also on Balmung.

I've been hit by it too just now, Now I cannot log back in. Fix it for god sakes.

On Excalibur and getting this error 2002. Which is the same error. Why is all this happening now. These errors cut into our subscription time. ; ;

I'm also on Balmung the same thing happened to me. I got 90k'ed frequently all of last night. And now this morning I was in crafting and fine for a while, my df popped for T1 for smn and as I got up to the ads trash I 90k'ed and have no been able to get in since. I waited for a bit and it said it encountered a lobby error 10105. So I completely exited, tried again same thing. And restarted my computer entirely and still can't get in. :/ Haven't tried for the last 20mins but I'm guessing it's still the same thing. At least it's not just me!

Must be something going on with the servers?

It's happening in Ultros too. Was just running around North Shroud and boom. 90K'd and then Lobby error.

You may close this issue for me. After not getting disconnected on my PS4, but getting disconnected on Diablo III as well in conjunction with the observations I mentioned prior, I had narrowed it down to an unknown software issue on my PC that was resolved after formatting my HDD once every other option that I, and several others, could think of had been exhausted.

So far, it has been over 36 hours and the 90k error every two to four hours has not reproduced for me.

Its been Happening on Adamantoise as well.

I was playing just fine up until this morning (5/15) when I started getting major lag inside Thornmarch HM and now I keep getting the 90K error about every 5 minutes with the 2002 error peppered in every now and then.

Mayh... I am getting the same problems on Jenova. Never had any issues until this morning.

I've come to the realization after 3 updates and still no fix for 90k that this will never be fixed. But something that CAN be fixed is the extreme amount of time it takes after 90k for the system to boot your character so you can log back in. SE please reduce the boot timer so after 90k disconnect you at least have a chance to log back in BEFORE your party wipes and rage quits OR worse even, Kicks you because your "offline" when actually trying to log back in.

Today I got 90k every 30min to an hour all day long. Sucks waiting 30min for a duty finder and once in getting DC.

Happening on Gilegemesh too random 90K errors NO warnings

On Hyperion. I have capped points on everything since 2.0 started but this week I am nowhere near close. I have completed only two dungeons this week the rest of the time I get kicked over and over when I try to cap points.

Our entire server [Lamia] was 90k'd early this morning... Everyone in my party & FC were DC'd so I'm assuming the whole world went down. We saw error 2002 trying to get back in and many of us experienced the return of the World Full Player Queue attempting re-entry.

From Faerie here, experiencing frequent 90k's during instances, making them difficult to play all the way through without disconnecting or getting booted.

Cactuar, been having random, sudden 90k's since 2.25, typically taking 2-3 minutes to get back in.

Latest occurrence was today, around 6:30pm EST. I was also in Mumble at the time, and apparently I was kicked from Mumble at the same time I was disconnected.

Ever since the most recent maintenance, I have been experiencing major latency issues that I wasn't experiencing before. 90k's have been few and far between, but the latency issue is consistent around the clock.

I've done the following:

Uninstalled/Installed Game
Reformatted Operating System
Contacted ISP for troubleshooting
Forwarded Ports

Please investigate as this was not occurring before the most recent maintenance. :(

Frequent 90k since latest update without any warnings (sudden lag etc), happened every 15min~1.5hours.

Had 20-30 90k's today. Will not continue my sub after the first 30 days if this keeps happening. The game is unplayable atm.

On the Behemoth server, 90k a good portion of yesterday and today, has been making it a pain to do raids and interact with retainers.

It has been fine for a couple of weeks now. But today it started happening again.
After a major patch and emergency maintinence. I guess they have no idea what is going on.

Seems like a newly released mmo by a small developer with all these problems.
Otherwise the game is great. But its just unplayable when you cant be online for more then 5 minutes before getting kicked off.

Yeah mine has started back up again, I get kicked from the game every day since the latest update, and have lag. Seems like something that will keep reoccurring throughout the lifetime of the game.

i got these for 2 months straight. after the patch, i was suddenly fine and then last night it started happening again. Unplayable and why should i pay for a unuseable service?

Faerie server, frequent 90ks, sometimes in the loading screen while trying to log back in from being disconnected. No other computers in the house showing connection problems.

Disconnected in towns, empty wilderness, 4-and 8-man dungeons indiscriminately. 90ks now occur within minutes of one another. Would prefer not to cancel subscription, but the game is now unplayable.

Keep getting the 90000 error and disconnected. Just now was disconnected and received a 90002 error. This is the first day I've experienced these errors. Ultros Server.

I'm having this same problem on Jenova server. No lag warning or anything just moving right along and then disconnected, has happened about 5 times in the last hour and half or so. No other internet connection issues on my whole network.
