Been getting it after the 2014/05/02 maintenance

Also having the same problem. Error 2002 connecting to US/EU Data Centers. No error when attempting to connect to JP Data Centers.

Was fine from 3am till 8ish.. got kicked out and can't reconnect

Was in this morning until 7:48 PDT when I left to drop kids off @ School, now not avail, same issues as above.

Same here. I can't log in anymore. I can't get past the version check.

Yep same thing here. Was playing for an hour this morning, got disconnected from the server, and now can't get back in. Sometimes can't get past the version check, just like the last maintenance where they were having "congestion" issues. Most of the time I can get into and past the launcher though, but when I hit start it times out and gives the 2002 error.

On top of that, it seems everything related to Lodestone/FFXIV forums is painfully slow loading up. Rest of the internet/other games are fine so I'm confident it's not my internet connection or anything.

Same issue here. I can get past the launcher (painfully slow, stays black awhile), I can click "Start", it sits on "Connecting To Server" forever and then boots me with a "Error 2002, The lobby server connection has encountered an error." The one time that I did get to the character screen I promptly got 90k'd. -__-;

Also noticing that the forums/lodestone are super slow/unresponsive and are sometimes taking multiple refreshes to get content to display.

I tried again after waiting a couple hours, and it seems to be working now and forums/Lodestone are back to normal

still trying since i got kicked off 5 hours ago now .. still 2002 ..

well i went with a prozy program trial pingzapper ... and it enabled me to login immediately .... this shows that the servers are having issues with certain ISP's it seems mine is Shaw Cable and residing in Thunder Bay, ontario canada, I have 100MB line and done numerous speed tests and everything has been ok for the last 5+ hours ... hope this is resolved soon as the maintenance last night was to repair certain lag/connection issues with certain ISP's in the usa it has caused us with non existent ones previously.

Seriously, been having 90k issues for the last few weeks and i'm really at the point of freaking out.

Let me show you a "few" examples,

1. Ifrit EX, Last phase with 10% left i d/c
2. Titan EX. Last Phase one tank gets 90k'd
3. random dungeon people are getting 90k'd <- Now this isn't even a big deal.

But when it happen in coils or extreme mode its frustrating as !@$!
