Include Chocobo Name Change too plox (for free, jus' let us switch it as we please)... anybody should be able to rename their pets as they see fit.

You can rename your chocobo by talking to the stablemaster in the major cities.

I just hope they release the respec for Chocobo partner too so I can make mine a full WHM xD

name change would actually be quite appreciated I would love to cosplay characters without having to lose all my current progress with my current character just put the service on Mog Station with everything else

my advice is do the ol' switch a server roo.

- spend 15/20$ or w/e the cost of switching servers to a new server.
- make the character of your switched char, again, on the server you were just on.
- return back to that server, you will prompt to change your name because its taken.
this costs $30-40 but its a way...

this is actually a good idea albeit a little expensive but still a good idea

I would love to change my name as its a bit out dated and when i moved over from 1.0 to 2.0 it didn't let me change my name. (also missed the huge post about cause i was to busy playing the game). So yes bring out a name changer! this much is needed other wise we might end up with a lot of males disguised as females!

I personally dislike name changes, and if they do add them I'd like to see them remain at the 'current' price (Transfers). It should be expensive.

It's your gamer tag, identification and reputation. DF already gives too much freedom and anonymity to the game - your actions have little to no meaning. Don't take away what little 'community' we can build in this game for a small fee.

"Just make a new character if you want a name change!" and "If they allow name changes, people will scam me!" which essentially means:

"The big mean meanies who want to scam me can't be bothered to remake their characters, but legitimate players should have to start over from scratch".

the problem with a reputation is sometimes it just takes a few snooty jerks to screw it up even if you're good at what you do and treat everyone well.

now mind you I'm not saying bad players shouldnt end up with bad reps but even without the name change they can still create new chars.
so how does not having a name change protect them from their reputation?

Having Fantasia to change genders or races, it'll be sad if I can't name-change (female named Georg, no go)

Its not your gamertag or your id there is a number for that and it stays the same no matter what. If I have you blacklisted you stay blacklisted. Why not the other way around? Females disguised as males?

Don't know if they will or won't do that to be honest.

People could then troll and be really obnoxious then name change and do it all over again to get around the blacklist. If you don't like your name you can start a new character. Heck I have 7 characters for when I want to change myself. 3 of them at/near end game.

Still holding out for this, I may want to go female but Fantasia wouldn't do me any good if I chose to... it'd be awkward lol.
