Grats on your win but have you checked to see if any people from the Order of the Blue Gartr's raid team use ps3? Or any of the other teams that followed in their footsteps?

Does it really matter who scored the first kill? It is not like it is a grand achievement in a persons life haha. After all this is a game! Meant for fun and enjoyment! so for all who downed him, grats! I will get there eventually!

There's a lot of people who make the claim that endgame content is literally impossible on PS3, so proof that it can be cleared on PS3 is actually fairly important.

Anyway, whether you're actually the world first or it turns out that you weren't, congratulations.

I don't understand how it's so much harder on PS3/4 ?? I just made the switch from PC to PS4 - admittedly I'm using Keyboard and Mouse - but ran a couple of things using the controller. . . . it's a damn site easier to move with a controller :P

The PS4 is absolutely fine. It's also got nothing to do with the question of controller efficiency vs keyboard efficiency, for once.

The chief complaints about PS3 has to do with its processing power being limited and a weaker networking card. Players have often noted that AoEs are more unforgiving on PS3 compared to PS4/PC, but you also get things like mobs that appear mid-battle taking a couple seconds between spawning and rendering (and before they're rendered, they're untargetable).

The differences do exist - but people often overexaggerate exactly how insurmountable these hurdles are. It's a handicap, but I don't think anything in the game is so incredibly strict as to be impossible with the handicap applied.

this thread is aimed for those PC players ( claiming master race ) so that T9 can be cleared on PS3

i cleared T9 as tank not healer im not main WHM

and that WHM sucks had over 40+ levi ex kills as WHM

plus i had major lagg spikes yesterday hopefully it will be fixed by friday maintenance

I love how the spoiler warning was put in the title after the fact and I just now saw an image I cant unsee. Perhaps change your post to put the image in a forum spoiler box or use a link to an offsite photo with a text warning beside it?

Usually it is something like:

but without the spaces. But many forums have their own code for it. It may be as easy as what the person above wrote ^

im not saying you did t9 as whm, tho, with how you play, i can see you doing it somewhat easily. and yea, was kinda crazy on those levi tries. i have somewhat given up on people clearing t5 mainly because almost no one knows enough of the fight. knowing my luck, i will really be stuck behind it until 2.3, and that just sucks. will keep trying to teach more tho. hopefully get a group that learns fast and ends up downing it.

Yea what Garlyle said, the PS3 is really slow, and to put it into perspective when it comes to AoEs, imagine still having the 0.3 delay we used to have before 2.1, it persist in the PS3 not because of the game, but because of the system itself.

I can remember the number of times I got hit by divebombs in T5 despite getting out of it, it got to the point that I didn't bother dodging and healed myself through it. I since then moved to PC to makes things easier, but I definitely know anything in this game is doable in the PS3.

With that, congrats OP.

Did you down this on Cactuar, or an alt with another server?

Anyone who makes that claim is an idiot, plain and simple.

I wouldn't really brag about something like this. I mean the fact it took a PS3 player this much longer than everybody else to down content really says something about the console, and it's not saying anything good.

Anybody who says the PS3 is bad is just bad at this game themselves. I play on a PS3 Slim that is completely stock and is on a wireless connection. I have had zero problems downing end game content that wasn't due to my actual internet connection.

Congrats for the kill, but doing it on a PS3 is not a grand feat.

im ps3 and i have no problem with this game, cleared t6-7 past 3 weeks fine working on t8 right now and having no problem cant wait to start on t9 looks really fun and btw congrats lol

It couldn't have been because it is a difficult instance that only a few hardcore FC's have cleared, even on a PC. No no, that would make too much sense.

Look, I don't really care about this world first bs, but you are just being cynical for no reason. You can do anything on a PS3 that you can on any other system. Will it ever run as well as PS4 or a decent PC? No. Is it good enough to get by? Yes. That's the point.
