Feel Bad For Me

I still haven't seen my first Atma drop.
I'm only posting for attention and sympathy.

I R Sad.

Well the atma system is dumb, is broken, RNG on that level is not fun. Stop White Knighting something that isn't "good" content. RNG is fine if done right, but 2.2 is just RNG Fest to the max.

lol its not broken. its working how its intended. its rng so just pure luck. not more and not less. now call me an elitist and white knight coz i dont share ur opinion.

well...keep tryin :3 just start a tv series in the background. took me the whole first season of "vikings" to get all atmas

If I had the first season of Vikings in the background I would be watching it for the 4th time by now and I have yet to receive a single Atma drop.

I could have watched all the currently released episodes of Game of Thrones 3 times over with how much time I've spent atma farming (yes I've been logging it) and I only have 6. It doesn't get better. Ever. You get one and you get hope, and then the RNG continues to fuck you repeatedly. The thing is, its not fair. And that's because outside of quantum computing, RNG is not RNG. Certain variables give way higher chances to continually fail than others and vice versa. That's why RNG for something like this is an awful system.

I honestly thought everyone was just complaining....But I started the quest today finally. 6 hours of straight farming in central shroud and have nothing. I can't do this lol. Insane waste of time. At least farming dungeons gets you some gil but these fates are just a waste of time.

I'll suggest you just play new content and wait for the inevitable nerf. Animus weapon a month from now will be the same item someone got today. Just play and have fun, and worry about e-peen stroking on whatever elite item comes next.

if its working as intended how come the other part of the quest is being pushed back?
lol coz they dont want it to be a horrible grind fest like atma. cant wait for nerf, otherwise

Man did I feel bad when I got a lucky drop within the first few fates of joining an atma party. But it also evened out when I got stuck on my 12+ hour grind that had 25+ join/leave.

I'm on the same boat as you. I have 0 Atmas and I spent so much time getting them... I just gave up

Some people get it, some don't. Keep in mind that not everyone were 'lucky', they just kept going at it. This doesn't make them masochist, just some people hate starting something to never complete it. Even with all the Atma, just so you guys know... it's not exactly that much better with Animus.

Again people persevere at it to get what they want, it's not just Atma they need to fix in this case (Animus has sorta long fate spawn time for some(?) and a lot of myth grinding runs as it is 13,500 myth in total for Animus upgrade completion.) and tbh... Atma farming isn't all that bad to everyone. For some people it actually gives them something to do, an excuse to spend more time (aside from dungeon to dungeon runs) with friends, or some just do it as a spare time thing so yeah...

(Not saying this makes it better for those who are suffering but honestly no matter what SE does theres really no way to make everyone happy and yes some people did want long-term goal content so... here it is?) :x


Edit: And a reason you won't see too many Animus players is because like Atma, it's just not worth it. To some it's just not, it's not BiS, takes quite a bit of time to finish to boot. ( Doesn't make it bad, just at the moment people don't see a need to do it. )

It also matches up to Levi EX upgraded weapon which is better in some status points areas (for some classes, won't say all because I'm not sure of each weapon stats from him) than Animus is plus they find the fight itself fun and more rewarding as you can even get a barb from him that costs a lot, it also requires practice/mastering (skill) for some.

For ppl with no luck with atma hunting do what i do and spend that time on something else that isn't heavily influenced by rng.
You can:
-grind pvp stuff
-make gil and become richer than you are now
-level classes / gearing classes
-typically anything that isn't atma
Seriously you'd feel so bad after countless hours of atma hunting everyday and getting low to no drops.
Let's say u spent a 100 hours +
Well, that 100 hours could have been put to better use on something that's actually attainable without the rng curse.
I feel bad for you for real lol
Like i'd love to have my own animus but just tht uncertainty is what's keeping me from seriously taking the time to grind all 12 pieces.
Cuz i'd be sooooooooooooo sad and feel like a goof if i got it and to only find out they raised the drop rate in the next few weeks or something.

I actually agree with you here Yumi, sometimes it is better to also know what your limit is and to possibly just move areas if you decide you do wanna keep going or just find something that you find more fun to do for a couple of hours.

If you do not get a drop w/in 2-4hr change zones. I got lucky a a few by not sitting in 1 zone. It is still luck tho.
