Why is it when i open up FFXIV and hit "Start" i get "the lobby server connection has encountered an error" ? it was working fine up til now

Same. Got disconnected about an hour ago and haven't been able to get back in.

I concur, I'm getting the same issues as well. Looks like it's happening to everyone by the looks of it.

Yeah, I've been getting these for the past hour or so now, intense lag spikes in game before that started too...

Been trying to log on for the next hour with no luck. I'm on the Balmung server. I'm on the west coast of the U.S. My internet is working fine but I've seen no posts from SE regarding server problems.

Now, it is letting me periodically get to the loading screen and then kick m out with a 10105 error! Lol

I dont know.....I heard it happening to only ps4 people, because of the recent update.

PC player, same problem, so... nope

PC Player, Southern Oregon, Charter Cable. Now 1.5 hours of this going on for me.

PC player in Oregon with Charter internet. Everything else is working fine. Have got my Character to load a few times but got booted before i got in game. Trying to connect to Gilgamesh

PC user, from Australia, played the game all day just fine until I suddenly 90k'd just chilling at my FC house. Been unable to log on for almost 2hours now.

CST, Charter Communications. I've never had issues up until the last patch. PC player, so I can't blame the PS4 transition directly.

Anyone hear anything about it getting resolved?

PC user, Hyperion. Issues since last night, 8 pm PST.

PC, Northeastern US, Metrocast. Still can't get in.

PC down so far. I haven't tried PS4 yet but don't see the point after reading through this. Going crazy wanting to get on :(

PC, Colorado, Baja, was able to get on all day yesterday and for the past 2 hours i keep getting the 2002 error

Same issue here on PS4. A lot of people on reddit are having the issue and seems like it's been happening for hours.

Started happening last night at 2 am pacific time.
Went to bed, came back this morning and problem is still there.

Same issue here CT on Siren for the past 2 hrs. sometimes i can get to the character select screen, sometimes not. when i do i get the 90k error after that.

Primal, Lord Boz, 2002 error.

I would like to log in to cactuar server please. The 2002 error is blocking my progress logging in to the game. Please fix this. I look forward to it.

Haven't been able to get into the game all morning.
There is a big reddit post right now that is exploding about this as well...

I just wish SE would acknowledge there's an issue and give us an estimated time for a fix...

2 hours of 2002 here, with the occasional 10105 and 30000 for variety.

Same problem here, also getting disconnects from the server if I ever login.

I'll keep at trying to log in but the 1 in 10 chance that I do actually get in, the connection will be really shady and bad for about 20 seconds to a minute then will eventually be booted off with 90k to start the log in 2002 cycle over again.

Starting this morning, I am getting a connection error "the lobby server connection has encountered an error" code 2002.

Give us something SE, anything....

Is there anyone even on? Feels like someone forgot to turn on the servers.
