Rebirth: CON 2hrs ability?

So, after this announcement i was wondering about it...an extremely powerful action with some extremely long recast for this game's fighting patterns...and r50!

Anyone else think this might be the said "2hr ability" that was commented by Matsui some time ago?

Haven't heard about 2 hour-like abilities in awhile. Wonder if we can get the community reps to ask the dev team if they are still planned/being considered.

If by "2-hour ability" you mean "30-minute recast spell", then sure!

The "2hr ability" is a reference to FFXI's signature ability of each job. So yep, i mean "30min action" when i say "2hr ability" ^^:

I'm well aware of the reference lol, I was just being a smartass in the regard that the two are almost nothing alike. The only similarity being "both have a recast timer" lol :P

Nothing new about this 2hrs ability?

What 2 hr ability are you refering too? you do know this is FFXIV not FFXI right ?

They said they going to add JA for each class that would be like 2hour but there thinking on how long it should be. So most people are thinking it could be something like 30-1hour recast time.

To answer the OP question no it's not there 2hour they just made it with that time for the hell of it because i guess they thought to powerful to be 10min.

I'd really prefer to see things like 2-hour abilities relegated to jobs. It would add more flavor to the playstyle, I imagine.

they said you can unlock JA/WS/spell that only can be use while on a job so you never know they could be doing this.

I think I remember a dev talking about 2-hour abilities a long while ago so finding the post while take forever. He said there would be 30-minute abilities in the future because 2 hours would be too long since this is more of a casual MMO
