Yes, this is quite disturbing.

Too many of our Lalafeell population monitors are being unfairly ganged up upon and mercilessly murdered before they can complete their sacred task.

Must think of another way to keep the pint-sized population pint-sized... perhaps Poison. Oh, I know, I can talk to that beautiful damsel in yellow...

Natural Selection.

Tasty and snack sized, it makes sense they would go for the best looking option as well.

Funny how they mention me getting eaten by one of those dogs, then I kill 25 of them at once.

I personally think the Miqote need a predator. It's no wonder there's so many of them running around.

Just Ferne referencing community jokes and memes again (remember the references to the 'great gobbue wall of Ul'dah?) - it's the old meme from FFXI about tarutaru being food for taller races (Ferne was a FFXI player before he joined Square Enix's localization team), which naturally carried into FFXIV with their counterparts the lalafell.

I don't eat lalas though - too gristly and besides, they give me bad heartburn. ;)

My chocobo is named DevourerofLalafells.
I have two Lalafell npcs in my house. I like to put them in the fireplace.

The grip of this tiny freshwater crustacean's claw is so strong, it has been the end of many a Lalafell's fingers...and more. Take care when handling.

Blame the Lalafells out there who name themselves after food.

I'm a Hyur, and I regularly eat Lalafell, basic nutrition, we need 5 Lalafell a day to live.
