I would do 200 Fates if it guaranteed me Atma

Whats with all the RNG?

If you want people to get X item in Y time. Then design it that way.
I thought this game was moving away from the bad RNG design you see in past MMOs but almost everything in patch 2.2 aka the Korean Patch - regresses back to that.

calling this a "korean" patch is a bit extreme, now if they removed all quests after lvl 30, made every story quest require a full group (without duty finder support), made drops in coil 5% (as in 95% of the time you just get gil) THEN you could justify calling it that.

lol @ 200 fates. I did over 1200 fates for my atmas. Probably way more but I stopped counting at 1200

but your colleagues didn't. They probably didn't even do half that. That's whats dumb about RNG.

or more, for the first couple weeks i farmed 5+ hours a day. now i just do it an hour or two a night when I'm bored, I've been hitting outer La Noscea for Atma of the Lion for the last several weeks, I know ive done over 100 fates and ive got literally dozens of the mythril/titanium/electrum shield drops from the fates there, still nothing.

I would like a 100 max...then atma is auto. Retain the RNG prior to that, but.

Can we make that rule apply to everything with RNG?

Attempt 200 melds, next one is success. Run dungeon, or trial 200 times, guaranteed item of choice, without worrying about roll. Might as well make everything token based.

So very very true here, which is why it is bad design

Wait until you finish your atmas and then start the books! "Oh my god myth is so long to grind its like so much and I have to wait for fates for books omg taking forever wahhhhhh."

Wrong. People are fine with part 2 myth runs is not a big deal because there is a goal you can see.

Clearly you havent been paying attention to the forums.

The outcry to change Atma has been much louder, but theres just as many people crying about the Myth cost as well.

Not true entirely. Don't speak for me, I have been reading since the update dropped there are people who are completely fine with the myth part so try again.

As a person who had to suffer the god awful myth grind and waiting game for Fates to pop, many are not fine with it. Especially those who sit and wait for fates to pop to do their books. Some (not an excessive amount) would rather grind for atma again than do the bloody myth grind.

No people already have forum posts about this. And it will only get worse as more people finish atmas after they just do it and stop complaining.

What does any of that have to do with RNG?

At least the Myth portion tells you exactly what you need to do and you get it. There's nothing unfair about that.

The people complaining about the people complaining about atma are worse.

My fate counter went from 300 to 807, about 500 fates to get all 12.
