No individual housing still. :<
that will arrive in a big patch like 2.3 or 2.4
this is just a mini update
basically:
PVP update and a bit of coil.
Patch 2.25 will introduce new ranks and rewards to the Wolves' Den, the next phase of the Echo in the Binding Coil of Bahamut, and much more.
i agree. but i wish they added mroe QoL stuff.
like the stupid taking to ppl on a chocobo...i mean come on...on df chocobo.
pvp looks like a joke here no offense and they didnt do much to help it at all.
oh well. :)
No explanation of what transmutation will actually yield, but interesting.Quote:
I Got a Good Materia Obtain a high-grade materia through transmutation.
Materia transmutation is the only real interesting thing in the whole patch. ; . ;
Dyable DL. Doesn't change that HDL looks like shit, but it's a start. NOW WHAT ABOUT MY AF?!?
Completely underwhelming.
new pvp ranks and gear, no new battles
coil 15% buff echo
materia transmutation (change what type it is? wasnt explained)
That was the big stuff i took from the notes.
"major pvp patch"
+10 ranks of PvP, cool armor, but absolutely no changes to the poorly implemented PvP. Good job, SE.
Wow, what epic fail on the PvP. 2.25 is supposed to increase PvP participation, presumably by reducing gear gaps and adding incentive for newer PvP players...
... and instead literally the only change is to make the gap even larger.
They really have no idea what they are doing. PvP is doomed to continue to fail horribly in this game, and I say this as a fairly hardcore PvP player in other games.
It always seems they throw out stuff urgently, hastily, and unchecked.
Patch notes full of fail; materia transmutation was not explained at all.
Believe the materia thing is changing from one type to another.
Probably a chance to transform the useless elemental materia to more useful one, and possible higher tier.
It's weird that they changed so little in what we all knew would be a tiny patch!
Wait... no it's not.
Actually its explained in the french version. Its combining 5 materia to get a higher one
Epic win. This was the bane of my current existence.Quote:
Treasure maps and Trials of the Braves books can now be viewed while mounted.
Hmmmm no mention of Atma/Animus, yet they have delayed the next step until 2.28 because of something in the questline.... fishy, fishy.....
Yeah, seriously. What's the point of even adding new gear/ranks when people simply don't want to play it? How long can you grind deathmatches until you get tired? They could have added a couple of new match types like capture points, king of the hill, etc. Or if they are so lazy, they could have *at least* added a 8v8 deathmatch to make some people come back. But nope, it's another typical "please stay tuned for our next patch" patch.
I must've missed the "major PVP patch" bit. Source on that?
The color of the following item icons has been changed to improve visibility: ( Atma Stones )
I just have to laugh at this one. With all the complains, Yoshi P reply is that you guys not zoom in enough to see your Atma Stone dropping, so he changed the color to make it more visible.
Then they might as well remove all the stuff explained in patch 2.2 notes cos that's all spoon feed?
Point is that's not the way it was intended for SE to not inform.
Stupid people are stupid with stupid comments.
^ This. {Please check it}.
I'd be more excited for the PvP update if they tweaked position updating a bit more. I have a good connection and can dodge everything in PvE reliably, but I still fail to pillar sleep or bard arrows? I've seen bards shoot through walls 1-2 times after someone runs behind them and I know it's all due to lack of position updating... I do like that they've added matchmaking as of 2.2, although I haven't tried it since before that patch.
No, if they did change the drop rates they would have mentioned it in the patch notes, but i have seen them do ninja patches so cant say. Chances are though they didn't change the drop rate because they know a large amount want it to be changed and not putting it in the patch notes is just stupid, seems the change will be coming in 2.28 sadly.
Crossing my fingers that the "NINJA NERF" for ATMA drops rates is in there somewhere and they just did not want to say it and piss people off. The people that already have there's don't need to know about it........LOL!!!!!!!!
I'm freakin' pumped. I've been waiting for them to add that sweet animal themed PvP gear for aaages. +dyeable DL and some QoL changes. Good patch for me personally. Too bad about the animus quest though.
I'm trying to find you the transcript, but it's from Live Letter XIII;
A matching system will be implemented so high rank players don't get matched with low rank
2.25 will be a big patch for PVP
The animal series will be implemented in 2.25
2.25 is going to have a massive PVP update
Frontlines will be coming in 2.3
Frontlines rules are still being worked on, please look forward to it!
Source: the relevant Reddit thread, for now...
I don't expect them to disclose drop rates, and regardless of my support for or against nerfing Atma/Animus quest, I tend to respect transparency. There are those who have ground their 13500 myth and would like to continue along their questline and should be able to. There is an apparent 'difficulty' to the current quests that prompted them to hold back the Novus questline, but rather than fix, they are going to let it be... Something isn't being said, and the fact that they think we won't notice is ridiculous. It's like 2.0 WAR all over again.
