I'm fine with this having its own thread. I was very happy when he confirmed it point blank. I hope they continue the idea of at ps3 release since new races are coming out for a one time remake. I think this would be a good move on their part.

I would be perfectly happy if Miqo'te were the FF14 version of asari. Sadly that's not to be.

The only thing that bothers me is first we don't get any chainmail bikinis or female thongs of ultimate protection and now we have catboys and female... giant thingies. I'm starting to wonder what demographic this game is aimed at.

That would not be "Making them available" just "making them present" so I will take that bet!

I wonder if PC players will have a chance to recreate their chars when PS3 version releases. Just wondering.

I thought I read one time about possibly giving a small window of time for race change. But it would not be a permanent system.

It is prudent to make this decision now before there's like 43827423 times as much gear to refit to new models.

I think they will make the new races playable, and I'm sure they will introduce a way for us to switch races (probably at a fee to recoup some investment!).

Neither me. I wanted male miqo'te if they released, but after all this time with female version, i don't know if would change gender

Anyway, I don't know about the idea of letting people change their race. FOTM would have so many man-cats running around, and hairy galka woman... *shudders*

Justs aside while SE has largely gone for a more practical look for the game, and I'll put adding the missing genders as a practical/realism decision, frankly I think they should be trying to add a few things that look nice. Maybe not thongs but are some options that are on the sexy side of things too much to ask for?

I guess I'd rather SE be adding more options for the existing groups over adding two new avatar types and trying to make everything look nice on them.

I think the man cat will look like the malae mithra from wings. (and I hope so) Having one look like charr from gw2 or khajit from TSE would be meh...

Anyway where is this q&a thing all over the thread about all these confirmations? Minus the community rep thread.

Also it will most likely be playbale races, considering it would be silly to wait till ps3 to release npc. >.> and tick alot of ppl off

Adding new races and not letting us re-roll our characters would be a big let down. :\
