Something I would love to see, existing and future Primal battles.

Existing - Leviathan Extreme, if you die from falling off the edge, when he does a tidal wave type of move, your corpse washes up on deck. You're still out of the fight, more of a dark "well then." type of thing.

And a Dark aligned Primal, like Lich, that if you die from an unrecoverable situation, such as falling off the end of the arena, Lich then animates your corpse to fight against your own party.

Existing: Titan EX with a random, not-scripted move rotation, complete with 20+ different bomb rock formations. each of those bomb rock formations has a 5-way landslide in the middle of it.

There needs to be a holy based primal like Ultima from FFXII. Oh that reverse. I imagine the healers freaking out over the party's hp. lol

Also that dark primal idea sounds a lot like the bosses from Demon souls (Old Monk) and Dark Souls 2 (Mirror Knight) where PC's are summoned to fight as/with the boss.

However this idea is great.

You could tweak it slightly so that if you are KO'd for more than 30 seconds your corpse also becomes reanimated. A REAL extra penalty for dying.

lich wasnt a dark summon

more like earth summon like titan but with dark spells like death , doom etc

or at least that how he was used to be in FFIX

Oh I know he wasnt, but while scouring the ff wiki looking for someone who would suit the dark/undead type of feel, Lich was the only name that popped up that really suits. He is considered a summon-type creature from earlier games, specifically FF Tactics, which we already know they love to take little bits of influence out of that universe already.

Or could release a 4th difficulty level, Insane or Legendary.

...Just Alexander in general. Pure deeps race, with a countdown for Divine Judgement. Perhaps to make it interesting, some mechanics of doing certain things to make the countdown stall for a little while, but I really, really, really want some form of pressure with Primal fights.

But with how Yoshi has gone with fanserverice, I could imagine a throwback to FFIX and the awesome battle secene between Alexander and Bahamut.

They don't even need to IX it up. Even in XI, the Alexander bossfight/storyline was so unbelievably epic- and that was a completely new scenario.
...But now that you mention fanservice, a remix of this as a battle theme would be hardcore amazing.

Alexander would be cool. I have this idea where you fight his hand (cause he's massive) to the point where it breaks before allowing you to run up his arm and into his body where you shut down some key systems to reduce he damage of judgement. THEN you get knocked out of him and have to do the remaining 50% of his life against the massive castlebot.

Also 99.99% sure that our dark aspect primal (seeing how it looks like we are getting one per element) will be Zodiark, the Ascian primal.

I'm waiting for the Shiva fight where they literally force you to fight on a Titan-style pillar and the entire thing is coated in slick ice so you continue to slide after you've stopped. If you don't dodge just right, you'll slide off. The ragequit meter would skyrocket, no doubt.

Alexander could be cool, how bout fighting ur way up a massive dungeon like Alexander, different mechanics on your way up and mobs in order to stall divine judgment countdown, reach the top and stop the head or something in time and u turn him off or something, killing would be kinda strange as a giant castle would disappear.:)

I'm putting my money on Fenrir, personally.

I'm going to await Bahamut's return which is probably going to be something insane like a 24 man fight since T5 you're fighting on his palm. Once Bahamut falls, then it'll probably be Zodiark.

Titan Insane difficulty could be nothing but bombs, pools, and FALCON PAAAAAUNCHes, Titan is invincible, and you win automatically at the end of eight minutes if anyone is still alive.

We have Fenrir art but Zodiark has been directly referenced and been made a point of contention by the Ascians and Scions. I know he's not officially an authority but Mr. Happy and other prominent FFxiv figures also believ that we will be assuredly fighting Zodiark and his universe ending explosions.

We will get Fenrir no doubt though. Just dunno if he will be THE dark aspect primal or even if he will be dark aspect. Maybe he'll be like bahamut and be non elemental.

As for the Alexander fight, I just want shadow of the colossus, lol.

I'd personally love to see and don't hate me for it, but remember in main scenario where Garuda summoned titan and ifrit, I would really love if you could fight all three of them , I i know you sort of can in ultimas bane but I mean a true battle against all the primals, in a 24 person fight
