Petition for SE - Need more consideration for DoH and DoL

I would like to start this thread to talk about lack of consideration by SE for the DoH and DoL in term of development.
DoH and DoL artisans are a big part of this game, but SE seems to consider it as secondary. Lot and lot of people are investing a huge amount of time to level up those disciplines and I think SE must provide more content with major patches for DoH and DoL.
If level up and obtaining Luminary with Artisan status is consuming a huge amount of time playing, the rewards are not adequate to that level of effort.
- New major patches, DoM, DoW and wolf den have new gears. DoL and DoH, just on single tool for each class.....poor content.
- New gathering points, few, limited
- Value of DoH and DoL given in the game = Low
o Crafted gear very low level compare to dungeons content
o Limited number of tools, and only craftable tools and clothes.
o No Aetherial tools or gear

I will shoot some though after and will expect more idea to give to SE from everyone on this forum, but first if like me, you would like SE project team putting more effort and content for DoH and DoL for FFXIV ARR with each major patches, just click on “Like”.
The more “like” we will have, the more we will demonstrate SE they must take DoH and DoL with more investment than it is actually.

First one: “An Artisan season event, an Artisan festival”
- Quests and challenges at different level for every class DoH and DoL
- Crafting and gathering of item unique to the event (could be just level 1 item used later with glamour prism)
- During the event, all menders repair the gears for free, to make NPC artisan participate with player artisan to the event.
- Recompense for DoL and DoH = specific gears to wear unique to the event

For DoH, option for a player to make a reparation request (same as material melding request), where the cost of the repair appear to the player based on Menders prices. Option for the Artisan player to provide a discount to that reparation and if accepted, like Menders, all items in that list are repaired in one shoot. (instead of one by one). If the artisan is able to repair only item of one class, well only that class of items appear in the list, if the artisan can repair multiple, all it can repair appear in the list.
To increase link between Warriors and artisans in the game, player artisans will become as important as menders and players will be able to request reparation without to run and find a mender.

Could be great to receive from Levequest chest aetherial item for DoH or DoL, or in some dungeon chest......
SE must also consider of more unique items for DoH and DoL, and not only when you are at lv 50...

I personally think the new crafted gear sets should have been item level 95 instead of 90. They're honestly a lot tougher/expensive to obtain compared to coil gear.

I completely agree we need more content for those of us that have leveled DoH/DoL. FATEs, more points, more items, more tools, more gear, etc.

Yes. Yes yes yes. I don't think we should be able to craft gear that is exactly the same iLvl as current raid gear (so no iLvl 90 armor or ilvl 100-115 weapons), but we should be able to craft gear that is equivalent to, say, last patch's gear. So right now we could craft like iLvl 80 armor and iLvl 90 weapons? It could even require quests first to earn the ability to do so, and require special ingredients. Make it a challenge, but not impossible. Perhaps before you can craft that iLvl 90 sword you have to go on a quest to find the super awesome super powerful mega Blacksmith Masamune and perform tasks to get him to show you how to make one.

Give us more, and we'll use it. We'll make it fun and we'll love you for it.

They already said they don't do Petitions so it's pointless.

I'm not sure if this is the kind of thing you'd be looking forward to, but at least it'd be something new for Land and Hand classes to do. In the ARR pre-launch Systems and Content PDF, there's a listing for content yet to be implemented, named Dragon Battles of Ishgard. Its description reads, "Campaign of battles against the dragon horde in the defense of Ishgard, with participation possible as any of the four Disciplines." This leads me to think it'll be a new version of 1.0's Hamlet Defense, in which Disciples of the Land and Hand were critical to getting a high evaluation score.

no they said it doesn't matter if it says petition or not, they both get equal treatment and they won't look at one more because it says petition/gm/dev/suggestion.
