Is Hildibrand a highlander

ok so a friend of mine is arguing against me saying that hildibrand isn't a highlander and that his animations could of been used on any race,

and she will not believe anything unless there is official mention about his race

sooo help sort out this argument with proof and with your own ideas on what race Hildibrand is, is he highlander, midlander, or something else

Hildibrand is a Highlander.

He is the Highlander all Highlanders strive to become!

Serious Note: Hildibrand is a Highlander and he is born and raised in Ul'dah.

He is a Manderville a unique race to Eorzea.

(Seriously though): It wouldn't matter all the animations could be used by any race as we all share the same generic skeleton asides tails.

This is on top of the page, meaning anyone could have written hes a midlander.

Due to it having the clan(?), Im sure the info was datamined. SE had to put that info into the client, and they have no actual reason to come out and say what clan NPCs belong to.

His hairstyle/body features is that of a Highlander, (he looks almost exactly like Widargelt of the MNK quests) but I don't think I've seen him next to a Midlander to compare size with. His body build also looks that of a Highlander to me though.

No, he is very much a Highlander as you get to meet his dad in all his naked glory during the new questline.

He is physically a Highlander that's for sure, that's why us highlander males can do the same /pose as him. Clan wise, no one really knows?

It's like Minfilia I guess, she's a Ala Mhigo refugee (most are Highlander) yet she physically looks like Midlander.

If they have more muscles Justin Bieber then it's probably a highlander.

If it lacks eyebrows, its a highlander.

How could anyone think Hildibrand ISN'T a highlander O_o?

All characters in 2.0 share the same skeleton for animation to streamline the animation process for new classes/jobs/cutscenes, therefore any animation can be applied to any character with ease.

But I can assure you he's as much of a Highlander as I am.

This is because she is a Midlander. Not all people from Ala Migho are Highlander, like not all people from Ul'dah are Lalafells.
