I suppose the actual question is, what on earth does Nikko Securities want with it?
They want that:

Because SE is doing well and FFXIV just passed the cap of 2 millions subscribers.
I get the impression that Sony needs capital to survive. I don't have this huge library of facts to back this up so feel free to ignore my post. Just a gut feeling.
Yeah, I kinda wonder what is up as well. Sony has sold off a few of their computer divisions in the last few years and it seems like every week on IGN's BeyondPod we hear about another high level person leaving one of their studios including two of the lead developers on the Uncharted series... curious to see where those games will be headed on PS4. Hopefully they are just needing to shore up some of the pain from all the delayed PS4 games (they lose money on the system itself, so without any games to sell things are not as good as "hey we sold millions of systems" may sound) and once the major titles come out later in the year they will start to bounce back, but with everyone fleeing the Sony run studios you have to wonder.
Your answer lies here.
I'd rather Atma farm than do the myth grind for Animus.
