Lack of Fates being done in other zones

Lack of Fates being done in other zones because of Atma Farming.

Northern Thanalan
Southern Shroud
Mor Dhona
Coerthas

Will we see this fixed?

No thanks, we have enough FATE bullshit to last us a life time.

Besides I see plenty of FATE activity in Coerthas and Mor Dhona, its not as obvious as the Atma fates but people are still doing them.

But except Southern Shroud, the other zones are still nice to level with fates 35 to 50, at least while waiting dungeons to pop

I'm with the OP, I don't see fates being done in these zones at all, It's not lupus was up for its entirety, as was the ogre one in Coerthas, as much as I hated the atma grind, part or me hopes they do something to the missing zones to make the fates popular again

Could just raise the amount of atmas needed for the first quest but increasing drop rate to where it take you same amount of time as 12. That be faster way to do it but may just see another relic upgrade quest.

Some of those areas were already baron before Atma. CPP in particular, dragonhead was kind of sparse. Took forever to down svara/eyes, when i was lving glad about 4 weeks ago.

So it is just like it was before in those zones? I doubt people want to see more atmas needed because some zones weren't included. I still see coerthas fates parties all the time. Don't see this as much of a problem.

We don't need more people in Mor Dhona...

They are not as populated as before, but there are still usually enough people doing Fates that you'll see a few shouts for Fate parties. I finished leveling up WAR in Northern Thanalan, so it's definitely doable.

Northern Thanalan was always barren, ever since they nerfed Dark Devices it was underpopulated, and the buff to dungeon experience made Darkhold and Aurum Vale runs superior to grinding N. Thanalan fates. I can't remember anyone FATE farming in Mor Dhona outside the first 2 weeks of release.

And you're seeing less players FATE grinding in general because they're all on their main jobs grinding level 3 fates in lowbie zones now.

I tried to solo the whole chain for Dark Devices got to "The End" and wiped because the only person who came along to help was a lower level SMN ;_; I wanted that achievement...

Lol same..I was doing the scenario quest that sends you right to that area,DD popped, got to last bit and wiped due to no one else there, that's after doing shouts for it too

Yes because CLEARLY people in here are just dying for more fates to grind. >__>

Fate parties to me are the equivalent of leveling parties in FFXI... where you camped in one spot for hours grinding the same mob over and over. Only it's better, because you get more out of it, and you move around a bit. But it is a way to socialize with people while doing something which takes little focus/attention.

I haven't done much fate grinding yet... I only have one job at 50 so far. But while working on my 2nd job, I'm wishing more people were running around in the lower level zones just doing fates. Maybe there are, I don't seek parties usually. I just don't have hours to spend playing a game anymore.

Wow that issue must be addressed ASAP! Let's just throw in 4 more atmas, easy fix :D
