Lobby error 2002 since PS4 switch

I've called up my ISP (Time Warner) several times to see if the issue was on their end, but I'm not having any internet issues with any other device I have.

Anytime I try and start up the game on my PS4 half the time I go straight to the 2002 lobby error, and the other half I can't get five minutes in without server disconnection. Please help, SE, now that I've switched over to the PS4 I can't play on my PS3 which was working just fine.

I too am having this exact issue, just made the switch to ps4. Prior to this ps3 was working perfectly. It's not an ISP issue. I'm in northern Alberta with ISP Telus. But same issue in game for a few minutes then "server connection lost then lobby error 2002.

I am having error 2002, 90k, and 10105. It's like a raffle of which I get with my logins. just recovered my legacy account to ps4 for early access. had no issues the last two days and now can only see my character for maybe one minute before getting hit with a DC of some sort. I'm on Hyperion, in Southern California, on ISP Time Warner.

Any word on the cure for this issue? As it stands I currently cannot play at all.

If you go into the "Being currently reviewed" section under the Technical Support, you will see there are multiple threads on this exact issue with no official word from SE.

I thought i'd add to this. I made the switch to PS4 from PS3 yesterday and, i wish i hadn't. I got slapped with constant 90k's - three in the first five munutes, and at least a total of fifty throughout the whole day. As well as this, when i could play i would get constant lag spikes (often lasting 15+ seconds). So i give up. I've just tried again now (today), and i've had two 90k's within 7 minutes of logging in. This is utterly unacceptable and totally unplayable. If i miss out on my 450 Soldiery for the week because of this i'll be asking for reimbursement, as it's an absolute joke. Who would have thought PS3 would be more playable than PS4 - and, AND, i can't even play it on my PS3 now. Shocking.

I can't even log in to the Primal datacenter on PC even though I also have a PC key on my account. I get error 2002 when trying to connect to the DC.

anybody got resolve for this? I'm from Aether and I have same issue

To make matters worse, I've been trying to reach someone who cares at SE for the past two days and have only gotten back responses saying it's not their concern and I definitely won't be reimbursed for my time. Perfect way to make a bad situation even worse.

Made the jump from ps3 to ps4 and if I'm not disconnected staring at the moogle on the loading screen, I can maybe play 5 minutes at the most before getting 2002 or 90K. This is absolutely ridiculous.

Same issue here. One day I'll be able to log in and play for maybe 20 minutes then I'll get either error 2002 or 90k. I'll try and login again but will continue to get nothing but errors.

I am having the same exact issue. Switched over to PS4 on Saturday and have not been able to get into the game at all. I have only even reached the character select screen 3 times in 2 days and then promptly get the error 2002 message shortly after. Has there been any resolution for this issue?

I've been having this issue since I re-rubbed on the 17th.. I was hoping it woild resolve itself after the first couple days, but I've yet to be able to play. Half of me thinks SoE doesn't care becausse we did thr 'free' upgrade, instead of spending the $40 dollers to buy a new copy.

I think I'm just going to cancel FF14 and DCUO, then patiently wait for The Elder Scrolls Online next month.

This is perplexing i having the same issue went from ps3 -> ps4 and ps4 has had nothing but 9k and 2002's at random times , i can play on my ps3 with no issue when this happens since i bought a ps3 version just encase i had issues like this but i really want to play on my ps4 ><;. Help us SE your our only hope! I will Flash my boobs !!!

This has been happening with me since April 21, cannot play on my lancer. I tried everything uninstalling the app checking my internet. I thought it was just me. Im thinking maybe its because of the upcoming patch that this is happening. If so then they either need to fix the worlds or add new ones cause this is getting crazy dude. And its such a shame this is happening on such an amazing game like this.

I am a little irate. I bought a PS4 just for this game and havent been able to play once.

I honestly can't believe what i'm reading. I've been having these issues since about the 13th of April ;/. and like i thought it was just me for the longest, maybe my net is having issues because comcast has been doing work out here and we were getting outages but no. Turns out everyone that switched over to ps4 is having the same l stupid 90k/2002 errors. It makes the game unplayable and it looks like i'm going to have to quit t his and go back to DCUO. after hearing that there was maintenance on the 24th last night i was hopeful that it would have fixed this issue so i got on this morning and i was able to log in and play for a solid 20 mins lag free. but right after i finished a quest. 90K, then the back and forth game of 2002 showed up.

Ugh...and to make matters worse we know they know about this issue i made a thread about it and it got moved so they know it exist, maybe they just don't care?

Was working fine last night. Tried logging in just now 3 times and I get the same 2002 lobby error.

Truthfully idk what to do this is the 5th day counting I haven't been able to play. Last week ago this never even existed. Its launchday all over again. Another dude would just cut his losses and try and get their money back but I dont wanna do that. This is such an amazing game nd despite all these problems I cant bring myself to give it up. Im just hoping and praying that square enix yoshida or whoever can fix this and fix it soon. A week without being able to play is long enough.

This is why they should have left your PS3 account active and with option to toggle
PS4 on or off.

Having a back up system is always a good thing. By SE rendering your PS3 account useless while they try and fix the PS4 issue is unacceptable.

Not sure why they decided to turn off your PS3 account just so you can play on PS4
The beta client / phase 2 was FREE to everyone using the PS4.
It didnt cost them anymore to turn on the ACTIVE SUB to that client. It's the same client being used for RETAIL PS4 digital download.

Just another way of SE keeping control and not allowing... your character to MULE is all this is.

I get the lobby 2002 error also, on my PC. Thinking is not just a PS4 issue.

Same problem here with the PS4 version. Yesterday I wasn't able to login and after a little research on the web I change the "MTU" value via the internet settings on the PS4; set the value to 1300 (the default value is 1500). Go to "Network" > "Set Up Internet Connection" > "Wifi" or "LAN" > "Custom" > Select your network and, put your password etc. Leave everything as it is, just change the MTU to 1300 and save.
That helps me yesterday but today it didn't work :(

I'm having the exact same problem, I'm on Chaos Data Center Phoenix Realm.

Thinking it's an everyone thing. I was logged in at 7am and walked away. Came back to a 90k and it's been lobby errors ever since. - On PC

Been trying to login for a while now this morning, after being able to play non stop no lag for 7 hours yesterday. On my fourth attempt at login I encounter not the common 2002 error but a new one I have yet to see a post about. 10105 error. I post this in the hopes it will help SE narrow down the issues in their coding so they can fix these issues.

just bought game for ps4 thinking it was a nice change to the junk Sony has been releasing on this new system i waisted my time on. 3 days after i buy it error 2002 or lost connection to lobby. my internet is 50mbps so i know its not my end. hopefully it gets fixed soon this is ridiculous. pay 40$ and 15$ a month for a game i cant even play

I'm having the same problem. I have been dealing with it since like maybe 830 this morning and it hasn't changed since. I'm getting kind of pissed about it since I can't play and I'm paying for the game.I didn't have a problem up till today. Now all I get is lobby server problems and cannot connect to server problems. Something needs to be done and soon.

It is not PS4 issue ... the issue is global I am a PC user and am gettign the 2002 error so i did some digging got the ip for the lobby server and did some tracing and i am seeing 25 percent packet loss 7 hops out from SE on routers run by Congent Communications growing to 50 percent Data is not getting to te servers because of a problem with a router ouside of the lobby and data server areas

It looks like the issue is beginning to get worse. I have not been able to play for a week now and none of the maintenances to address server/network issues have helped at all. As I previously posted, for me, it started when I switched over from PS3 to PS4. At the time, my PS3 version was working fine, but now it seems this issue is starting to affect everyone.

I ran into this issue today on ps3 only turns out you have to register this game like a million times. I've been playing the game without issue since October and just started encountering errors today. I can't speak for ps4 users but if you are having issues on ps3 go to http://member.square-enix.com/na and log in. it may ask you to create a new account. click on the drop down by your account name and select my profile from here you can register the game yet again using the red card included in the package. Hope this helps at least some people play again.

thats only a social site it doesnt effect game in anyway. only reason to register it on it is if u want to show people what games u have.

Just starting getting this issue with the newest patch. I only play on PS4 but I am not having network issues on any other device. Game is practically unplayable at this point. Any news on this?

the cause of the drop outs/90k is cogentco seeing as they have from anywhere 15%-60% packet loss on there hops. the issue isnt with servers but its been with cogentco network which u would see if u use winmtr to tracert to server and leave it on for couple hrs it will show u the packetloss so u can easily see problem. issue only effects na/eu servers because of being routed through the bad path/ bad hop which cogentco has

So, I have not been able to play in over 2 weeks. This is getting a little ridiculous. I am paying a monthly fee and have not been able to play for over half a month after this "upgrade" to the PS4 version. Everything was working fine when I was playing on my PS3 and now I cannot play on either because of how SE has chosen to handle the migration. At this point, I would love to just downgrade back to the PS3 version if I could. At least then I could still play. Come on SE, at least give us a response.

Bought a ps4 yesterday and upgraded my ff14 arr account from the ps3. At first had the lobby error 2000 issue, did a hard reset of my router and now am able to login, but when I get into a dungeon/ instance it gets really laggy and after maybe 15 min I'll get the 9000 error.

Anyone still getting DC issues on PS4, have you tried connecting directly to your router via ethernet cable?
