Has anybody seen Shadow Bow drop of late?

I'm not here to complain because I want a drop, honestly. But here's the thing: I started to farm Stone Vigil just after 2.2 kicked in for the Shadow Bow, as a 41 Bard. I like to keep tracks of my runs, so I keep the counts of tries. I am now lv50, just finished my 39th try, and the bow has never once dropped. I'm not saying that it has dropped and some other bard got it. I really have never seen it drop.

Needless to say that I'm counting only the successful runs, not including the many ones that were canceled due to tanks or healers leaving.

Some of my friends are starting to say that I should report this as a possible bug, cause 0/39 on a 11% drop rate is a really unusual result. But I don't want to post a bug without having confirm that no one else has seen the Shadow Bow drop since 2.2; I am still convinced I have just bad luck.

I have seen every other weapon drop during my runs, soooo... can anyone confirm the bow still drops? And please, I know there are bows with similar skin for glamour, and that to most of people my crusade is just not worth it, but this is just how I play, and I like what I do. Not trolling on anything, mine's just a genuine concern.

EDIT: Just wanted to inform everyone that this morning, on my 44th attempt, I've finally made it!

Unfortunately, RNG is RNG. I've never seen the Fists drop, but i have every other weapon except the PLD one. I've had the Shadow Bow since my first 50 Job went through there leveling, But i sincerely doubt the loot tables have been messed with since.

I feel your pain. I've wanted that sword from in there for a very long time, but I've not once seen it. XD

I got it last week

I actually got it well before 2.2 and never seen in for a while.
Now it is glamoured onto my Zenith :D

Honestly its just bad luck, like me leveling 3 mage classes and never even seeing the battlemage robe in brayflox drop. *twitch* im not upset or anything...

I've killed twin 29 times without seeing my whm staff. RNG is RNG and just, well, sucks.

This story sound familiar. . . Oh yeah I ran that place like 40 times to get my Eisentaenzer.

I ran that place over 30 times to my monk weapon......-__-

It originally took me 72 tries to get my Ifrits Harpoon, during a time where it was either get an ifrit weapon or pay 1.2 million for a crafted one, or just not do any lvl 50+ content at all...as a DRG I can tell you that was hell.

I also did Brayflox from level 32-47 trying to get the infantry shirt and pants on my monk. So hopefully your luck isn't as bad as mine.
I still don't have them. I gave up. :C

My husband got the bow in Stone Vigil 2 days ago.

I had never seen Ancient Sword drop in Stone Vigil until yesterday. In fact, I think I've only seen one weapon drop twice in this dungeon from all my runs in it, and that was Keep of Saints. That said, I haven't seen all of them yet; I've literally never seen the MNK or WHM weapon drop.

Got it, but for glam stuffs i'm using Bow of Owls, only coz it brings back so many memories of 1.xx lol

Amusingly enough, I myself just got the Shadow Bow. The only reason I knew what it was because of this thread. :P

Sadly it is not the axe I want so I have to go back in T_T

Hmmm... that is a nice looking bow. Where in stone vigil does it drop? The final boss? I may start trying to get that for vanity when i have nothing else to do for the week.

Yes, Stone Vigil final boss. It can be a drag with how slow queues are (and with how many tanks flee soon as they realize where the Roulette took them), but with how these weapons look, it was a worthy grind to me. Good luck to you as well!

My partner and I started doing SV tonight because she wanted the bow.

Second run she got the drop...... meanwhile I cant get a drop in CT to save my life.

Got it when I was during one of my books for Animus weapon.
