You might just be filling in the last slot for a FC run.
Being rude to people in DF or any other group activity is generally bad manners and a bad idea, regardless of the composition of the party.
i was in a df byerflox hard and the tank aggroed the raptor that i marked an x on so what does he agroed all that mob then all the other 2 mob pack's that opens the secret entrance so i said that was a dumb and i watched as the pt wiped as usual and he started with stfu noob, u should use aoe noob , so i replied so this is what you do start running your mouth and he replied you should play your job dumb a noob or ill kick you and i said if you do that ill report you and he said then ill do the same log story short i just left the df pt ppl like him does nothing other than make others leave some rather do nothing but be abrasive and before some of you abrasive type start bash me i do have thick skin names dont bother me but i dont like being in an pt with kids that have nothing better to do other be rude disrespectful to others one thing i have to say to these kind of ppl if they think that they are hurting others by ticking off ppl to get around the 30min penalty shur it sucks for me to get the 30min but theres so much non df things to do that will fill that so like with i went and did my btn guld task and 30min i think they should make an option to select leave and reason like player being problematic and put a lock out on it with 30min so if ppl run into this they can leave without the 30min pen and the lockout will help curb abuse i
Can you repeat that please dragorian?
So either you were the rude one and got kicked or you were part of the FC members and kicked someone. My guess is the FC. The FC kicking the rude person would be the ones in trouble if said rude person reported them.
Done it for him;
Please use paragraphs, grammar, spelling-checks.
Read what you write as you write it, if you read it out-loud and it doesn't make any sense then correct it or your point will get lost in an endless wall of text.
As another note, when the tank grabbed all the mobs, it would seem he was attempting to do a Brayflox Longstop (Hard) speed run;

I know your feeling because I also met a troll df party last night, in lost city amdapor. The tank ran into a monster group and provoke a mob, other mobs just ran to dps and healer and then killed dps and healer, the tank just don't care and continue hitting his own mob until he also died.
This troll run became very obvious when we reached second boss. The tank told other dps and me (dps) don't kill the flying bugs when the lure debuff already wear off, and the boss flew back into the sky and recovered to full hp, the tank then told everyone start killing flying bugs again. This boss is a super fast and easy fight and SE just fixed the bug on this boss. This tank made it becames an endless fight. End up me and healer just stop to fight the boss because we both know this is totally a troll run.
And the other dps (Bard) obviously is that tank's friend, spam Wide Volley on a single monster? lolololol
Off-topic maybe >_<
Some ppl will do brayflox speed run in df, please ask the ppl first before start the run. But imo, speed run in df just a bad idea. :\
first of all as to spelling and grammer yada yada want to know a secret well its not a secret i suffer from brain damage as a result of a high fall to concret on my head and also abuse from my dad when i was a kid by repeately slaming my head to the ground and as well as result from deformed spinal cord so next time think before you pick on some
I wasn't picking on you, I actually made it easier to read so people wouldn't completely ignore the block of text you wrote.
"You're welcome".
That's the thing, it WAS a secret.
There is absolutely no way anyone could tell, know or being to find out what you said was true about your life prior to your last reply. How dare you use that against me or anyone as a guilt-trip for such a menial goal, that is beyond low. Your personal life has no bearing or relation on your forums posts
If it is true, then that's just unfortunate, but it doesn't dismay the fact that if you don't block things into readable sentences most people won't even read it or understand it once they've read it.
I'll reiterate, I wasn't picking on you, I was helping get your point across, stop being over sensitive.

However back on track, the party you were in, they were trying to speed-run it which is quite common.
Watch the YouTube link I sent you and you might see a similarity in what the tank in your party did.
So if you are filling the last spot for a FC run, and you call out someone for not doing something they should be (in a nice manner), is it morally appropriate for them to kick you?
Had a group do this in CT when I asked why the warrior tank wasn't interrupting the Witches AOE during the Atomos fight. They got pissed at me and told me that it's better for the people on platform to move than for him to hit a single off-GCD stun skill. I argued, trying to nicely explain that moving off platform inconveniences more people, and they ended up kicking me.
Whatever you wan't to call it, sure.
But I already told you it wasn't meant as an attack, yet you insist that it is, so clearly there's no convincing you otherwise.
God forbid someone tries to be helpful and they complain, then turn around later saying "Why did no-one back me up!?"
Whether your 'story' is true or not doesn't matter, my point still stands.
Harassment, also known as verbal assault, is not only a viable reason to boot someone from a group, but it is also against the Terms of Service under 3.6: Any Illegal Activities. You may not conduct any illegal activities whatsoever in connection with the Game. This includes every illegal activity not specifically highlighted above, including without limitation gambling, defamation, harassment, and fraud.
Of course, this doesn't mean that some groups don't abuse it and should be reported, they most definitely should. But I have been in groups where we have used the kick function to remove someone being a complete tool who picked one person in the group to just ride the entire run, that person not saying anything to them in response or deserving the abuse. But still, it goes both ways, and you should always try to be as polite as possible to everyone, leaving a good impression is always good in the long run in life and in game.
tl;dr calling the GM's because a group booted you after you were being an ass will not get you any justice, in fact it could get you in more trouble.
Um, me?
I'm in a very small FC, because we're an RP group mostly, and it can be difficult to find other RPers. So we don't always have all four roles available for a dungeon run. Often we provide tank, healer, and one DD, and pick up the other DD through duty finder. We try to be pleasant to those with whom we run.
Invite priority when the last person doesn't show up to a run :
Other FC members >>> Linkshell members >>> Friend list members >>> PF players >>> /sh pickups >>> That guy who just ran past you 2 seconds ago >>> Random hobo on the streets of Ul'dah >>> DF players
If someone is being rude to you have the party kick them. You yourself don't need to leave....
Just to be fair, the OP of the 'block of text you fixed' knew what the speed-run was all about. He marked the X on the raptor in the room before the 2nd boss because no one fights those 3 mobs during a speed run. He recognized that, and sat back and watched the party wipe. I would have probably done the same thing. It was inevitable anyway; that would be hell for any healer to heal through 12 mobs with all that random targeting.
Unless I misunderstood something, but I don't think I did because of the magnificent job you did at translating the largest run-on sentence I have ever seen into something readable :)
Be careful being rude? When is it ever good to be rude? I shouldn't be doing it at all let alone being careful about it.
some potential "fc run" sure isnt the reason why im not rude to people in DF :D
Every time I tank brayflox I do only one or two pulls total. Only people that compendium l complain really just don't know the dungeon or are unsure how to play there class dealing aoe. Not trying to be rude I know it sounds rude but it's how that dungeon is done even in df.
That's all I wanted to do. Hopefully it helped a bit D:.
'Done' or 'Did' are both the correct tense and appropriate for the circumstance.
Here in Northern Ireland it's appropriate to say;
"Done it for him, aye", instead of "Yes, I did it for him, pip pip".
Stop being pedantic (even more so than me, however it's wasn't exactly a minor detail with what I helped with)
As an FC we like to Q as 7 and carry random people to victory... It's fun and we get some satisfaction out of the player response! You know you never expected to win Titan X when you Queue it to practice / learn! It's a welcome surprise for some lucky guest. We often give the drop as well.
It's a dying breed around here of players that actually like to give back to the community. We try to do it as much as possible.
And yes if our guest was a douchebag, we'd just jump ;) Don't be a dick!
If someone is rude to you - just leave (especially if you are a healer/tank) and farm fates for 30 min. Give other people 30-40 min to reconsider what they did wrong last time.
I am willing to take the 30 min cooldown to prevent people from harassing again (i leave even if someone else was harassed but offender was not dismissed).
For me 30 min is not an issue - i will start doing something else and forget about it in a minute. Atma grind just gives another useful way to spend 30 minutes, so don't be afraid to do so.
You brought up something about your background that no one could have known about and then proceeded to guilt trip the guy. The only reason why I even read your huge run-on sentence was because he re-formatted it for you. You may have the right to write however you wish on a forum, but don't be surprised when your post is totally passed-over because of how much of a pain it is to slog though.
Taking the 30 min hit and using it to Atma farm is a great idea... I also sometimes opt to do some easy tradecraft leves during that timespan as well.
My FC is small and sometimes we'll end up doing 4-man dungeons with only three people. Usually either a healer or DPS, but sometimes a tank. So far we haven't had issues with rude people. Mostly I just feel bad if they do a good job but I can't give them commendations because I came with a party.
