Ps3 ce to ps4 transition instructions?

I've looked everywhere but I can't find how non-beta testers can switch to ps4 version of the game.

Does anybody know the details of that process?

Lodestone was updated? The feature will be on mogstation starting on the 11, which is tomorrow.

So you can transfer your service to ps4 on Friday, but cannot play until Monday? So if someone transfers their service early they won't be able to play at all this weekend?

Can current players play in the early access period? It does not specify.

I believe that we can play as of the 11th, that's what I remember seeing and understanding.

Yeah I was wondering the same thing too. The announcement is not very clear, it says ps3 users can upgrade tomorrow, butdoes not say if we technically get early access...

Is there a number to call to verify?

PS3 users upgrading to PS4 can play in early access.

i cant wait to play on ps4 again, i cant play on my ps3, well, i can, but i dont like it anymore T_T, all i have do is crafting this past days aaaah, some time ago SE said that ps3 players get early acces, but now in the new PlayStation®4 Version Official Launch Reminder, it doesnt say anything

I agree, when I had to go back to ps3 I found myself not enjoying it as much as I used to. Not just because of the difference in graphics, but also because of the fact that I don't have to worry about horrible lag, players not populating on the screen. etc.

I hope we do get the ability of early access when upgrading from PS3>PS4 2morrow. Don't understand why it doesn't state it though. So I'm guessing we just use the phase 2 client to play on the PS4 when upgrading to the PS4 is that correct?

Yea CT on the PS3 is the worst for lag.

I read the post on the Lodestone about the Upgrade Campaign, but again, it was a little ambigous when it came to whether or not upgrading would give us early access.

Try the Odin Fate on PS3, I couldn't see or target anyone in my full party because of the lag because of the number of players there, which sucked because I was supposed to be healing.

Hard to test it as Early Access starts tomorrow at 1am PST 4am EST. Square Enix has posted that those upgrading from PS3 to PS4 will be able to play in the Early Access though.

Myself as well i sure hope those of us with a PS4 that have been playing on PS3 can start on PS4 tomorrow

Odin and Behemoth fate, heck Ct is nothing compared to Castrum and Prae, load times are soooo annoying in there.

I noticed that to and it still doesn't say anything about if ur upgrading from PS3 to PS4 do we have to download a new client. Or do we just use the one for the beta.

I transferred my character data over during the beta. Well I got to play my char so I'm hoping it's all sorted?

Well, it was from the section: "Upgrade Campaign Details
From Friday, April 11, 2014 at 1:00 a.m. until Wednesday, December 31 2014, users will have the option to upgrade from the PlayStation®3 version to the PlayStation®4 version free of charge."

I assume we won't need to download another client. The phase 1 beta client had a beta symbol in it's name. For phase 2 we had to download a new client that didn't have a beta symbol.

Character data is not "transferred" during the Beta; if you're referring to the launcher option "PS3>PS4 Character Data Transfer" that is a feature that allows PS3 users to upload their local data like macros/hotbars, etc. to the PlayStation Network and then download it on their PlayStation 4 via the PS4 launcher. Characters themselves are on the servers and no transferring was required, they were able to be used during the PS4 Beta phase 2.

The Beta phase 2 client is the final client and can be used for Early Access and launch; you will not need to download a new client!

I have a question regarding the ps3 to ps4 transfer. I have the game on ps3 and played it for short period of time but didnt really get into it. While playing the ps4 beta i created a new character and got hooked. Now if i do the ps3 to ps4 transfer do i keep that character that i created during the ps4 beta? Or will it transfer just my ps3 stuff?

It should be saved locally to your system. You uploaded it from PS3 and downloaded it to PS4.

This depends on where/when you created that character. If you created it during beta phase 1, on the PS4, then that character no longer exists. If creaed during phase 2, or created on your PS3, then it should still exist.

I downloaded the PSN version of the PS3 today, so I'll be able to access the game tomorrow? With early access?

My question is i traded my ps3 for the ps4 last week and played on the ps3 can i still transfer without having the ps3

I'm counting down the hours until I can switch. The ps3 keeps freezing - I don't know if it's the client or my system, but either way I'm MORE than ready to make the permanent switch to the ps4. Phase 2 beta was a cruel, cruel tease.

I missed the betas, but have had the game for almost three months on PS3. Once I "upgrade" via the MogStation, ((Whenever the upgrade becomes available)) will the download become available on my PS4? I checked the other night, but the client wasn't in the PS Store.

You can upgrade the game itself and you'll have all the character and progress data however not having PS3 anymore will prohibit you from transferring your crossbar and macros settings from PS3 so you'd need to re-create those manually on PS4.
