Will we ever get Dated items for those of us who are non-Legacy? Some of the items are really appealing for vanity, like the Iron Sabatons for a Yda outfit. Just having the option of simple models like that available to all classes would be great.

No, I don't think so. I remember reading a particular patch note towards the end of 1.0 stating that dated armor will become unobtainable after 2.0's launch. There are specific dated piece with unique colors and designs that 2.0 will not replicate. Who knows, though. If enough people want them, they'll probably add something very similar like the way they added the Goobbue mount which they claimed at the time to be exclusive and obtainable only once.

Q5: Will dated items remain in A Realm Reborn so that it will be possible to equip/trade? Will it be deleted?

Not sure what you mean by dated items but I would love if there was a way for me to get the valentine gear, I think especially the leggins are the cutest clothes in the game and I want them so bad.
I hope they at least make them tradeable so I can buy them from market -

Yeah, once they said they would no longer be available, I hoarded all the ones I already had and I crafted all those that I could find the mats for (Good luck finding Sheep Leather Strap (Taupe) 8 months after taupe shell bugs were removed from the game).
I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop and SE to announce that dated items would be unusable with the Glamour system, but they didn't.
Feels good walking around Ul'dah in full plate mail with a book on your hip, man. -

I'm not legacy and I kind of like the idea that there is gear that is exclusive to those from 1.0. Kinda fun to go oooh what I see something I can't get my hands on :p

I think they probably added the summer-wear as a rank 1 reward because this year will be Yukatas and I can promise you there will be a shit storm whatever year they change the rewards from previous years.
"I want a bikini! I don't care about this sucky Yukata"
The following year:
"Last year they got cool Yukatas! How come I can't get one this year?!"
It was the same in version 1, and the beta forums were full of people bitching that they wanted legacy rewards and that there should be some way to get them (well, they have the Goobbue mount now, so they're part way there).
