PS4 early access

Will I yet early access for the ps4 if I already own the playstation 3 preorder and the PC collectors edition? I had early access on ps3 because of the preorder and was told I would get all the ps4 collector edition items because I have PC collectors edition all registered to the same account. I really don't want to buy ps4 version since it's allowing ps3 transfer to ps4 but I want early access. So that's my question will I get early access for ps4 or does that require me to buy the ps4 version when I already own the other two.

You can upgrade your PS3 version to the PS4 version on the 11th, you will lose the ability to play on the PS3 however (but its free). All your game items are registered to your SE account, not the system you're playing on (you always retain items regardless of how many times you change your system.)

Most likely the same time as betas - 8 am GMT ...

I am a little confused about the early access. Why does it say from the 11th to the 13th? Can we only play from the 11th to the 13th and have to go back to the ps3 until the 22nd?

Huh? The official release date is the 14th. Early Access gives you 3 days early 11th-13th. Don't know where you got the 22nd from.

Without actually being able to click that link (at work), if it's referring to server transfers, I'm going to assume it's in regards to character transfers. They didn't want transfers to the new servers until the economy had a chance to stabilize or something. But if that's not what that article is for, then I don't know.

The transfer service is scheduled to begin Friday April 22, 2014
Please be aware that after transferring to the PS4 you will be unable to play the PS3 version using your existing game copy.
Users who wish to play using both the PS3 and PS4 will need to purchase the PS4 version separately.
Users who own multiple service accounts for the PS3 can transfer all accounts to the PS4.
Users transferring their accounts will have access during the early access period, scheduled from April 11-13.

I see your point. The wording on that is confusing.

LOL I know. I wish someone could explain this to me.

Most likely a typo. It's been confirmed ps3 to ps4 upgrades get early access which begins 11th April.

Upon re-reading the actual blog, I would say it's just a typo 22 in stead of 11 easy enough to do.

One would hope so anyway.

Good call on the typo...I guess I should have just checked and realized that the 22nd is actually a Tuesday. Who is running that SE website?! Come on guys. lol

It's typo (see the first part of the post mentioning 22 February - they've just copy & pasted it forgetting to amedn the date).

k just ordered my ps4 copy of final fantasy from shopto and got my early access code, how do I redeem code and how do I get early access with out having disc till 14th????

Code should be 12 digits PSN code - redeem it via your PS4 (PS3, PS Vita or PSN web store). Game client is freely available on PSN store - just donwload and install it from there.

awesome, so since i have been playing on PS3 i can start playing on PS4 tomorrow with the upgrade?
Sorry just mixed up by hearing about the actual release date that is the 14th.
Also those who purchased the PS3 version and just started it (no sub yet) are they eligible as well for this upgrade come tomorrow? You seem very knowledgeable on this Hec so just thought i would ask
