BrayFlox Longstop Hard: Vote Dismiss/Vote Disband after second boss in Duty Finder

Hi, as we all know, Brayflox Longstop Hard boss 1+2 is great way of farming Tomes of Mythology.
Unfortunately it's not fun when you join said dungeon solo through Duty Finder or even Duty Roulette with aim to get Tomes of Soldiery from the final boss, but get kicked (Vote Dismiss) from the party after second boss or your party puts up Vote Disband and people already capped with Tomes of Soldiery for the week kick you out from the dungeon and waste your time.
Protip: If you want to farm 1+2 only, go in as pre-made 4-man party, or at least ask at the beginning before start if everyone agrees to end dungeon early. Otherwise you will end up as another name on my System->Support Desk->Report Harassment form.

Nothing against mytho speed farms, but don't be a duche about it.

I think reporting is not a solution but a punishment, instead SE should make myth drop 10 + 20 + 30 so people would really stop doing this. I hope SE will listen because this really is going to be popular. Just consider 350 myth a day from roulettes, 13.5k for just 1 animus.

There's also ppl's who just leave after 2nd boss & hit 30 min penality , so other 3 ppl's have to wait rep or leave too ; ; Idk why's so hard for those who used DF to stick 5~ more mins ?

cos the way this is setup, there's no more reward for them in the last part if they have capped soldiery. Gear is trash for most people.

Not even a chance at the rare minion that sells for 15k+?

Brayflox isn't even hard, why would they stop after the second boss?

Because if you're already capped on soldiery and just want to grind myth, the first 2 bosses take less than 10 minutes and give 50 myth.

Party Finder is much more reliable for that, and everyone can leave without being kicked or taking a penalty...
In Duty Finder you have no idea what you end up with.

People who do this in DF are twits, capped soldiery or not. If you are planning to do a non-standard dungeon run, that's what the PF is for.

But yeah, they really should nip the problem in the bud by not making the last boss drop zero myth. Several things about myth distribution post-2.2 have seemed odd to me, and this is one of the big ones.

The community sucks, SE seems to undervalue providing incentive for being a good citizen.

It would be nice if they had the sense to make it a better use of time to run the whole dungeon.

If you insist on doing speedruns make a PF party, that simple. reported my fair of idiots who didn't do this and just booted me.

yeah then there are people who rage quit at the begining of ampador city because of how long it is. It's gonna happen in DF. just be nice enough that they want to play through the last third for gold and comendations.

It's getting worse and worse. First Duty Rulette run today and I get kicked again after second boss.
Luckily I made template for reporting harassment ^^. Just take screenshot at the start of the party and fill in names from screenshot after you get kicked.

It's really simple people just need to get PF with 4 ppl to do 2 boss speed runs... it's not nice for those who wants to actually clear the dungeon.

yeah I wonder about who made the decision to give 0 myth on the last boss of brayflox hm. with that in mind, I don't get why people would join the df to do the 2 boss speed runs. you might be capped in soldiery tomes but you can't be bothered to stay the few extra minutes to finish out the easy dungeon? it's not like the last boss is difficult in any way.

Ok... I agree with all of you guys about the complete lack of community in the group for people that want to abandon after 2 bosses...

The thing that these idiots overlook is.... Especially as a tank.... with the gil bonus that gets tossed at us nowadays.... is 4500gil plus whatever else in trash kills not worth our time??? I know, its not an overwhelming amount, but in theory.... completing a 23 min Expert roullette gives nearly 8500 gil.... Not sure bout you guys, but do a couple of those a day, and you have gil to furnish houses/buy crafting material/vanity/food whatever.

There's also the commendation to consider if you are interested in the gold magitek armor.

My point is this.....5-7 more minutes of your time for 4500 gil and a commendation??? Even if my soldiery is capped. That is worth my time! Idiot myth farmers dont consider the whole picture.

Lol really? Amdapor is like 20 minutes for the whole thing, omg 5 more minutes!! I could understand old Pharos but there's no excuse in the new dungeons.

We didn't get philo tomes on last bosses in 2.1. We got myth.
I can't recall complaints about lack of philo tomes on last bosses then, so why complain about lack of myth tomes on last bosses now?

which dgns are you talking about? cos I've always gotten both philo and myth from final bosses (in 2.1)

Anyone know if reporting this has ever been punished by SE?

I mean, how is SE to decide if this was actually harassment or really 3 other people but you just wanting to abandon for some other reason (i mean the feature actually is in the game so how you gonna judge it?).

Philosophically: Is the reason to abandon after 2nd boss harassment at all if 3 ppl ("the majority") want it so?

Only solution i see is split myth/sol on the last 2 bosses.

You can still get the roulette bonus after a vote disband. Found that out last night when I did Garuda HM via Trials roulette and the group voted to leave after one of the healers disconnected and we couldn't get a replacement. I hit clear selection and then reselected Trials and it still listed the bonus.

It's not really the answer for this particular problem, but at least you can hop in the roulette again and hope you don't get another group like that.

Im not concerned with dodging the bonus.... im just saying 5 more mins achieves the bonus....

There weren't any complaints about lack of philotomes on the last bosses because they DID drop philotomes.

Hence why I, along with probably many others, cannot understand what was going through the designers' minds when they decided to make the last bosses drop only soldiery tomes.

They managed to do the myth split correctly in CT (15, 25, 30, 30 for the four bosses) but bungled it everywhere else.

People are doing myth runs through DF? I only tried expert bonus runs one time and we finished it but it was at the day of reset. Makes no sense at all and should really be reported. People not on the Strategy cap miss their tomes and people doing it for roulette miss out on their bonusses as well. And again, it makes zero sense. In the last few days, whenever I couldn't find FC company, it took me like 5 minutes to enter a Myth farm run through Group finder. You join as a complete Group, leave without penalty and just go in directly again. Doing it through DF is just abusing other players. They serve them as a place holder to get their myths and nothing else.
