8 hours of no atma

After 8 hours of play, persistent and frustrating on southern thanalan to search Atma of the Scorpion, after 8 hours i don't see one. so i can say like the other 1,8 million of people that play this game that: "Who Have Invented Atma System have to die plently!"
People play to have fun not to waste time like this. And who sayd : if you don't want to waste time do search atma change game or try to do other things, i could say, "Really? Are you fucking kidding me? I need zodiac weapon like other, to progress my character and help my group and fc to progress with game, but i have a life, a work, a girlfriend, so for SE i have to change game? remember that Teso is right there behind the angle. Are you really trying to loose people on that game, after all the best work do to save this game?
Really i ask to SE to find a better solution to atma, maybe in time. People like to play and progress in a game, don't like to do grind, we are not in korea or in china.

Dont worry one of my 12 atma ( eastern shroud i belive) took me between 9 to 10 hours to get it. Sometimes luck come to you and sometime it just dont. But eventually you will get it.

And no you DONT NEED it to progress. Leviathan weapon can do just fine aswell. So dont need to rush it out. It is that YOU WANT it more then YOU NEED IT.
But calm down, you will get it sometime. No need to be Now.

in second : i do love grind iam sure im not alone.
TESO will turn Free To PLay in less then a year. Because TESO is nothing more then another Online boring game. It is not an Elder Scroll game. It's another MMO that took place in The elder scroll world.

I've no doubt the drop rate will be upped in either 2.3 or 2.4. If you find current content too difficult or taxing, perhaps pursue an alternate gearing route until the objective is eased? As previously mentioned - Leviathan is a good option. If you want to do raid content.....go do raid content? It gives you a suitable weapon....

My friend and I love the quest. We've not been in the gates to RT for days, instead we jump on and do the quest whenever we please together. He's only i70, but we are both able to play together regardless of the gear gap.

Exactly what i think, upgrade your weapon is important. SE want to use relic until they can, so the other weapon are only used until next patch, before you have to cry, and cry more. i have done double main class, i have a paladin and a warrior, but i prefer to play like War, so i take a dual daken because i have done a curtana zenith in the last patch, now i have to upgrade my bravura because mine dual daken is a weapon that have to die with last patch. The same is with other weapon that you take from dungeon, it's really an horrible thing to do, because every weapon you take, with other patch are going to less power, but relic are the last weapon for ever. So i'm going out of principal theme, the problem is that is really hard and frustrating to upgrade relic, and it could be better to be that less frustrating.

My first atma took me 35 hours... 8 hours is a walk in the park for me now lol, but yeah... x12 is alot of time. 4/12 here now...

worst part is if u wanna get atma weapon for each job u need to collect all 12 atmas all over again, screw that!!! lol

having 1 is enough for my main job!

Im seeing this as a good thing. will start to see more Career job builds vs the lulz i has i90 on 4 jobs i am good at alot but excel in nothing we see now. just my opinion of course.

I took 15 hours to farm my final atma piece.

I got my first 4 atmas in 6 hours, then my 5th in a further 8 hours. Now i'm on about 30 hours more with no drop. I was starting to get a bit bored so I watched Game of Thrones instead.

I thought "what would I be doing instead of this atma quest if it was easier"

My answer was watch game of thrones anyway. I think the biggest danger here is definitely the boredom, you lose sight of what you are doing and then log off and do something else.

My first Atma took 14 hours, which finally dropped in N. Shroud. I then proceed to C. Thanalan, and sure enough it drops on my first fate there. Not sure if its some sick joke but this quest is seriously out of hand. I'm all for quests being challenging, time consuming, and maybe even a little bit of RNG, but the extent to which this quest is RNG'd is out of this world. There is a difference between challenging and gambling, and this quest makes it quite clear which of the two it chooses to determine success. I absolutely love the "lol play something else", the "theres other content in the game, do that", or the really good one "i got mine in this amount of time, just keep going and you will get it eventually". The last one sometimes isn't directed in a negative or trolling fashion, but it comes off all the same in text. If you have to defend a quest that is so popular by saying "Do something else, we have other stuff in the game", that is just proving the point of poor quest design.

Base atma doesn't even change stats, just ilevel. Animus is unattainable right now (can only do 4 books) and so imo t5 weapons still trump zodiack AT THIS MOMENT.
In the future zodiack still get better again but right now its not eeven close to the best. Animus stage is worse than weathered soldiery gear (at least for my monk) and high allagen is ilvl115, so yeah. (For monk I'm going for repaired soildery as BiS anyway) Hell, id even reckon that levi weapon is better then my atma as It is right now...

I'm at 40 hrs and 0/12 right now, taking a break and hanging out with my 3 year old nephew atm

Not true, can be obtained. There's 4 types of books, you buy the same one to get the next level book till you cap it. It does add up to 9.

3: STR/DEX/INT/MND
3: VIT
2: Determ/Acc/Crit/Piety/Skill Speed/Spell Speed/Parry
1: Determ/Acc/Crit/Piety/Parry/Skill Speed/Spell Speed
