Fate "Tower of Power" in The Coerthas Central Highlands Broken ?

I been in The Coerthas Central Highlands for 3 hours and I haven't seen the Fate show up at all can you plz fix this

Not broken. I saw it pop twice during my 7 hour wait for giant seps. Apparently the atma book fates got there spawn rate changed to only pop when players are downing fated in that area. Not just letting timers run out

funny you mentioned this cuase ive been here for about 8 hours now doing other fates and havent seen it. longest ive ever waited for another one is an hour and im on book 7

is how i found this post. googling thinking SE mislabled it or something because i just simply havent seen it once. Ive resorted to sitting ON the spawn spot >>< or supposed spawn spot >.<

FYI, Tower of Power is triggered by an Npc.

Which npc?

There's an NPC near the big tower in Boulder Downs that will trigger the FATE.

Nope, the NPC spawns at the spawn point itself. Talk to him to trigger the start of the FATE.

Just did it. Just sit right beside where it spawns and click on the NPC when it pops up and it'll spawn. It won't show on the map till you click it.

It took 3 hours for the NPC to show up for me. Dunno how long it had been.

It popped once in two hours of waiting, and I only got a silver medal because i was a little late and did not get the task completed for my book :(

So I can't even do other stuff in Coerthas while I wait? I literally have to sit on the spawn point for hours because the NPC doesn't show up on the area map... Who the **** makes these kinda design decisions?

System existed for years, it's the same camping an Notorious Monster.

Did this fate yesterday twice and while i was alone with my choco i swear i got gold as i pretty much killed every enemy and yet
in my book it shows it was not complete. Do we truly have to do some of these in groups or just have other players join in?
So broken if that is the case

Totally untrue I wish when people say things they provide source material to back up their claims. What's more is that if you are doing other fates to "hopefully" spawn the one you need some schmuck could do the fate you are patiently waiting for, and as well all know you need to get gold for it to count.

This fate respawn everyhour, make sure you stand at the FATE spawning site cuz enemies are easy to kill. FATE ends within 5mins (SOLO).

Is there Anyway someone can post a picture detailing the spot of the NPC spawning. I heard it was (10,28) is that correct?

I thought these FATEs were supposed to spawn more often now? I have been sitting there for almost 2 hours now and no FATE, no NPC, nothing. This is completely stupid. If I want to progress this quest, I have to do this and since this is so elusive, I don't want to leave the place. This renders me unable to do anything else now.

Seriously, who in their right mind thought that this was a good idea? I thought I was supposed to PLAY this game, not sit around waiting for a single event that just doesn't show up!

They dropped the spawn time from 4-5 hours to roughly 2-3 if not sooner. Just make sure you're down by Boulder Downs and it will spawn eventually :)

Hahaha, 2-3 hours? How is that a real improvement?

Anyways, I have done it now after waiting 2 hours. Good job letting people camp that place for hours, Square Enix, top notch game design.

Be warned - NPCs who trigger FATES will vanish after a few minutes if they are ignored usually.

If you sit tabbed out for an extended period you may miss them

I guess that's why they're called FATEs.

SE need a bit lesson, i understand they wanna we stay busy with missions and the "Relic" is the better one of these things as they used to chain us at game, but really is just a game and we pay to play! somethings like that must be fixed/changed or users at least, leave the game because there are many others! SE remember the FFXIV starts, don't repeat the errors we, the users have the money!
