Thank you for the ATMA's ^^

Dear Square Enix and Yoshi's team.

I would like to thank you for this progress with atma grind. I remember me and many of my fellow gamer Partner complaining about how easy and too fast it was to progress in this game. I remember also the complaint i made and see about how static and useless was the area in this game.How tired, i was to just sit in Mor Dhona. I want to apologise for all the critic i could have made in the past. You have reach the level of quality i was expecting and waited for. Of course it is somehow and sometime long and testing my patience. But that moment, after 3-4 hours of grinding fate to obtain a single atma, where you finally obtain the precious Crystal, is a wonderful feeling. Exactly like in the old time. After a lot of hour grinding here and there since patch 2.2, i have finally got my 12 atma's. It was a long road but like they say:" no pain, no gain!" And even after that week of working, i feel like this process was really short.How really long is a week in a life? now i have to do the book grinding and im sure, i will enjoy it

Plus it was a wonderful idea to put fate in to use for Relic grinding. It made the world more alive. Exactly what i and many of us complaint about not so long ago.
It also gather players together as we all have to go through the same and long process. It was refreshing to see all these pepeol playing and talking together like :" how many atma's do you got so far? How long you've been here? do you feel like Bill Muray in groundhog day? Raise can i have it?" and many more. Pepeol are socialising again between Fate like it was back in XI between 2 pull or Bio Break.

Its not. I'am really happy about the Atma Grind. Iam 100% honest. I have really enjoy collecting the Atma. I LOL at my self when i got killed by a damm sylf after the Morbol Fate in Sylfland. I LOL for 1 hour when a guy state that he feel like Bill Muray and we start chatting about Bill for an hour. That is exactly what i was looking for. experiencing the game. Iam sure, im not alone to deal with funny good moment while farming atma's. please .if you have any good moment and enjoy the grind, share it ^^ i want to know your LOL moment.

Ok, we get it, you got all your Atmas, there's really no need to keep creating a thread about them...

Seriously it's either threads of people complaining about them, or funny enough threads with people saying they're a great idea AFTER they've got all the Atmas, because I bet you weren't loving it after the 5-6th Atma.

Actually, yes i enjoy it. Way more then the past month sitting in Mor Donha DF and PF. I enjoy it. I wont lie to you. Yes i have cursed a few time like :" J*censure* C*censure* how the F*Censure* this Crystal doesnt drop after 5 hours o.O!! that is f*Censure*in Crazy" But yes i have enjoy the process. And i'am sure to sometime get another 12 atma for another weapon in my free time someday. It is not because you dont enjoy it that everybody hate it.

If you enjoyed the Atma grind with FATES then power to you, but you don't really need to create a thread about it.

Yeah because everybody know that forum is made to only complaint. No place for Good Comment i guess. I have use this forum to express my insatisfaction in the past update. I think sometime i can just say Thank you aswell when im happy about the product.

It's just that the fact is if you have good feedback on the quests you can put it in here because it has been confirmed by a Dev to use it as feedback.

Yes if you have something positive or negative on this matter about ATMA, it is most logical to put it in the feedback thread.

Isn't that thread more about the negative side ? Even if not, posting nice things in big threads will most likely go unread, so why not open a new thread to underline the positive side.

Depends on the individual

If you like grinding repetitive mind numbing material for hours then farming the 270 dungeons and book categories will be even more enjoyable experience than those atmas.

If people just don't rush it, the FATE grind isn't that terrible. The problem is that people want it done asap, and naturally you will get drained and annoyed if you do FATEs non-stop for hours on end, as you would with any content that you had to do over and over. If people did it for an hour or two each day, I'm sure it could be easily obtained in just a couple of weeks or sooner.

That said, I do wish they would give us new content for these relic upgrades instead of making us do mindless FATEs that very few people seem to enjoy doing, but that's a different discussion altogether.

Yes, thank you for wasting hours and hours on a single item that most likely will get replaced by next expansion or worse...a content patch. You see this is not like the XI days when you for example get Kirin's Osode ( which I never got >_< ) and last you for years. While I don't mind some grinding now and then. Then rng on these Atmas stuff are on the retarded level.

So yes, THANK YOU SE.

Sometimes, I think people who write stuff like this is trying to see the grass on the other side and try to find people who feel the same way. It's not really greener. After you get all your atmas all you get is...wait for it! A new look~! That's it. You might have enjoyed the RNG but try putting your feet into those who have been going non-stop for 6 days with only few to zero atma. You are lucky and I'm happy for you. But the unlucky few just can't see it your way. I'm sorry.

And also you are lucky to find people who were willing to talk to you while finding atma. Everyone I've met are rude or won't talk at all. I stopped joining parties after they left me to die when I was trying to keep them alive. Great people.

I'm the same as you, I have my limits on how many dungeons I will do in a day and I'd rather not exasperate myself, with fates it's different because you're not fully committed like you would be if you went into a dungeon.

Ya know what, nobody is forcing you to sit in Mor Dhona, go gathering or crafting or level a new class, do a dungeon with FC mates there is plenty to be doing in this game so lets not try to make out otherwise ...

Most of the time when people whine there is nothing to do, it's actually because they can't be bothered or don't want to do something else.

I suspect that people are less bothered about the content and more concerned about the bragging rights when they complete and stand in Mor Dhona in their undies and their Atma's eqipped.

Thank you for making me have something special that I can show to others online and make them jealous because it's entirely and 100% based on my luck and I have it and they won't for a long time!

You know, nobody was making you sit around in Mor Dhona. You could have gone out in the world and done FATEs on your own without asking them to force everyone to do their badly-designed low-level content. And at least on my server, nobody says anything while doing FATEs, except the occasional "I think this Atma doesn't really exist" type comment. They're all too afraid that a FATE will pop while they're typing and they won't get to it before it's completed by the herd of players.

Also, that feeling you get when you get the last Atma? It's not joy, it's relief that you don't have to sit around staring at your map and running to the next FATE and spamming AoE hoping that you can do a bit of damage before the FATE is completed so you have a 1% chance of actually getting a drop, and can go back to doing something that's actually fun.

I'll grant you that FATEs aren't too bad when I manage to do them between 12am-4am Pacific when there's only about 10 people per zone doing them, but at any other time they are not any fun at all.

I started atma grinding today!
Got three atmas and two new friends on my friends list.

I'm loving the grind too!

ppl are trying to make this sound good, but it's not. now i am happy you got your atma's ^^
but trying to make this whole fate zergin' and praying to god you get there
before a whole swarm army of ppl finish it, isn't.
it's an AWFUL design. im not thankful for this because sadly, it's a part of the game i will not be doing at all.
maybe in 2.3 something will change..i guess its good someone like this but a huge ass majority doesnt simply coz it's so boring...
i am sorry but when you push fates in almost every single thing in the game, i feel like thats being lazy
and running out of idea's to make ppl do anything.

anyways for those of u who struggle with atma, good luck to you all. ^v^
