We've got enough Unicorn mounts now SE, thanks.

Okay, so two different types of Unicorn/Horse mounts was unique and with enough variety that they would be special and stand out from other mounts.

Then 2.2 came out and we get four more, color-coded to match the rainbow?? Why?? They're turning into some generic mount that everyone will want to have now if we're going to have 20 of them another year down the road. There doesn't need to be a red one that drops from Ifrit EM, or a Brown and Yellow one that drops from Titan EM, this is redundant and wasteful when those mounts could go into something more unique than another crayon matching Unicorn/Horse, let's actually try and apply these future additions to something less generic alright SE?

Addendum: Sorry everyone, there are 4 horses and 2 Unicorns, whether they realized that 6 Unicorns was too much and decided to just tear the horns off or not I don't know, but sorry. Sorry!

I actually would seriously believe that we will get one eventually, if there's 6 of the things now it's not entirely impossible.

There are only 2 unicorns in the game, and they did not add more with 2.2

If people these people are serious about unicorns = horses then I really have to question your knowledge of both fantasy and reality. Horse without a horn =/= Unicorn as had been mentioned

I wouldn't mind seeing a chestnut color or black color horse, but I would like to see colored Chocobos in the game before they do more with various colored mounts

The thing that rubs me the wrong way is that this is a funal fantasy game yet we have more color options when it comes to ponies compared to the one color of chocobos :(

I know somebody can be a wiseass about the legacy darker feather part (but who cares really).
I just want to have a black chocobo. (Through breeding! Don't just slap it in there!)

Chocobos of different colors were already confirmed in the same live letter where Yoshi P mentioned chocobo raising in the works.

What nobody confirmed instead is all those chocobo bardings becoming available for other mounts too T-T

I want them to do something like, making a Robot you can mount inside the frame, also having its own ability sheet and starts at level 1 even though you are 50, it gains new skills and gets stronger when you fight and its only out in the field not in dungeons.

Have it like the companion and have 3 choices on what kind of robot you wanna build, Defender, attacker and healer, though it is operated like a normal job.
Example- Heavy punch chained to Combo punch chained to Machine gun punch, when you get higher you learn laser aoe or something cool aura beam.

it would only be for something fun to do that's what I would want to see, Also I wish they would let us target ourselves and have a mount option only for chocobo so I don't have to click the macro bar or use the Crt

by the way the robot is controlled by you not by npc.

we need a gold choco (fly mount!) !

Those colored horses are just really ugly and doesn't fit the FFXIV ARR theme. SE is just doing fan-service to little girls who want to be princesses.

I find it disturbing that they continue to try and push their most horrible mount in the game. The mane. I can't even....just stop SE. Stop.

I'd much rather a primal barding dropping from each, like the Tidal Barding. Minus the whittles, more the droppings.

On a serious note, I'm more disappointed with how difficult they made it obtain the Lion and Bear mount, in comparison to the Unicorn. Running 200 coil turns/expert primals. ;O;

Why not add achievement for collect them all and reward a rainbow one?
