Patch 1.18 release date announced! July 21

Oh and btw this patch is also being released on thursday like many others so apparently the golden rule is:

Thursday = Patch time

Neat. Looking forward to it.

I had a feeling it would be released when I'd be on vacation!

Well, at least it's nice to have some confirmation.

Can't wait! Hopefully I can get my ARC to 45 for the 8 man dungeon by then

Good to finally have a release date, but I def still want some juicy tidbits. I had guess the 18th Mon of July. I was close.

Yess! Again!
This game keeps thrilling us over and over.

It's like a treasure chest: sometimes when you open it,
you find some coin, and at other times just a note that

Would love a preview video of this new patch. It would help hype this a bit. Little bit of everything but don't show the End Bosses if you do one please :)

This is neither good nor bad news. Just hoping the wait has been worth it.

i'm wondering how many times they will have to add patches to debug their debugging of the dungeons?

nah really this is what alot of people, including myself, have been waiting on. even if it is pushed back due to some issues at least we know it is getting close. i little bit of information on when to expect things can go a long way.

without trying to be too negative after a great post by yoshi i do have to ask a question. how can you honestly say this when you have not seen anything put out in this patch yet? it's taken months to get the stuff in this patch and i do hope it is great, but don't pat them on the back til the actions come out and are good. with this much time they better be fantastic or it turns out to wasted months working on this.

that being said back to the good news. hopefully this is the turning point in the game, but we will all have to wait and see when the stuff actually comes out.

So what does everyone think about that part where he said the raids were not dungeons? Seemed interesting to me! What exactly is a dungeon and what exactly is a raid?

One month late compared to the first release date, and almost 3 months without a patch.
Where is the promise to launch a patch per month? I'm sick and tired of your delay.

I will laugh when the patch is very underwhelming.

Maybe... Maybe it's company policy now, copy what western developers are doing. Like, you know how the FFXIII-2 team is looking to Bioware for inspiration? Yoshi seems to be under pressure via the players to release this pathetic letter. July 21st huh? I bet it gets delayed again. All this letter intailed was a round about way to say. Sorry we have to delay the patch another week.

He said last time:
I’m very sorry for this, but given the tremendous size of the patch, I estimate that it’ll take two more weeks beyond the anticipated mid/late-June release date to deliver it to our fans.

We should have had it, at the very latest by July 14th.
