Anybody else think it's funny...

That the person who everyone really dislikes right now for the Atma quest, has his face plastered all over the forums?

I personally think it's hilarious. Reminds you who's in charge of the game people pay money to play, doesn't matter how invested you are in your character, the face of the guy who has the power to ruin it all on a whim is all over the place today.

Considering that I don't dislike him, not at all. Just because people aren't entirely happy with the atma quest doesn't mean people dislike Yoshi.

Yoshida is awesome. He took this game out of the gutter and breathed new life into it. He even found a fair balance between harcore and casual with the variety of gear earning methods in 2.2-

It's a game, get over it. Once I get to the point in time for doing this quest (I'm taking my sweet time on my alternate character), I think that there will be an ease at the requirements for the quest. It's really not that hard. I see this way of having Atma obtained in regular FATEs as a good thing, as it has higher level people helping out people who are lower level to do FATEs in the area. There's no problem having more people helping out in FATEs now. I think that's the whole point of the Atma system.

I don't have issues with myself, Naoki_Yoshida, I have issues with some of my questionable decisions but thankfully my legion of loyal fans keeps saying my videogame is great and flawless so I can keep playing BLM instead of addressing everyone's issues, isn't that great? I appreciate all your understanding on this very special day.

I believe -.01 drop rate will do the trick, because that way getting a relic is a real challenge and it won't be just handed down. Cause you know, back in 1.0 blah duh gah blah bananas.

I hate the atma quest.. or rather the atma portion of it... but I don't hate Yoshi. There's a lot of good that was added with the patch too.

I am canceling my alt account, I have spent 20 hrs farming and have yet to see one atma fall. if SE thinks I am doing this on 2 accounts the are crazy.

I think the atma's quest is too easy and should be made more difficult, same with the upgrade system.

I guess I'm just a oldschool final fantasy player who enjoys things taking long amounts of invested time as opposed to a 4 hour event to get the max weapon for 6 months.

You realize that the Atma portion is just the first part of the quest right? And even the luckiest people don't get that done in 4 hours (at least no one that I've seen)... The next part requires lots of grinding, and 13,500 myth tomes total. Assuming the 4 hour event bit is referring to Coil.. raid bosses aren't in your definition of difficult, and the grind of the relic doesn't seem to be either. So what exactly are you expecting out of a weapon quest?
