Multiple 90k's already and unplayable dungeon lag. Welcome back to week 1 of launch.
I'm not calling you out specifically at all, but it's kinda funny how people will be in an uproar whenever there
is emergency maintenance.. and now I see so many threads asking for it.
No offense to you, I swear. I fully agree with them doing maintenance ASAP to fix the lag. =/

Here i was hoping to be able to gain a few lvl's, but nope. constant crashes and "unable to connect to login server" tons of fun.
90k'd, can't get back in. Lobby server errors or it just hangs forever on a player queue of one.

this patch made the game go to beta phase.
I keep getting stuck when something needs to load. I got trapped yesterday in a dark void between the instance server and my regular server. That was fun. In general, i keep having to restart the game. Its pretty bad.
I just sat down to play and got three 90k errors on my way to the Sahagin dailies.
This is worse than launch day for me.

Test server to prevent this sort of fiasco?
Honestly I would be fine waiting for them to fix this stuff until they get it working but now they've essentially broken a huge part of the game and just decided to test it on the entire paying playerbase.
When i can't do any of the group content in a MMO there is a problem.
For this issue, hit Cancel then try again until it doesn't show that message.
As far as the connection issues it really seems to be with specific instances at certain times. I was doing T1 and everything would freeze then catch up in a second the whole way through, but when I tried again an hour or 2 later I had no problems at all.
This leads me to believe that it might simply be server overload from players coming back for 2.2 and spamming the new dungeons/farming BC. They are working on fixing the issue, as has been stated several times so you just have to be patient. It's not always black and white as to what the issue is, especially with regards to large servers.
They have one internally, a few actually. Only reason people want a public test server is to try and do content ahead of the actual patch time and to try and get "head starts" on gathering crafting items on the live server.
A test server won't prevent this because test servers tend to be limited in nature and a bit closer to what the dev's build is like. The best part about what you said though, they didn't patch in "lag" or anything...they changed the duty finder infrastructure..again, which is the issue - They put TOO MUCH RELIANCE on duty finder and not enough on 'open world' or "world based" content.
Aw I had agreed with you until you went there. We would be having the same issues if the we had more "open world" content, except it would be with everything outside of instances. Until the servers become more reliable/powerful in general, both instance and world servers, adding more of anything would not help the issue.

That just won't cut it anymore.
I have supported this game since alpha 2010. Subscribed every month available.
I am done with this game. A tragic end to something I truly loved. Genuinely sad.

Dang - was totally fine this morning on Adamantoise. Ran Brayflox and Ruined City of Amdapor and everything was A-OK!
